My Fountain of Youth

My Fountain of Youth

As much as I don't like to admit it to myself, I'm not in my early 20's anymore or even my 20's. My hereditary dark circles, and the wrinkles that are starting to creep up around my eyes as I smile are a constant reminder. So, I was excited to start using the anti-aging Conture Kinetic Skin Toning System.

I was new to Conture, and was intrigued to learn more about the anti-aging device that brings professional med-spa technology to it's users in a safe, painless, and affordable way for at home use. The system uses a unique combination of ultra low sonic vibrations combined with isometric compressions to safely, gently, and easily stimulate skin. It's been clinically proven to dramatically increase skin radiance, smoothness, lift and texture while decreasing the appearance of crow's feet, fine lines, and wrinkles.

The skin toning kit I received included the Conture device, kinetic treatment serum, AM ignition serum, PM recovery creme, and a USB charging cord and adapter. I immediately loved the digital touchscreen on the device, and the convenience of the USB charging cord.

I've been using the kinetic treatment serum to treat the delicate areas around my eyes with the device on the "mild" setting, the AM ignition serum to kickstart my morning with the device on the face setting, and the PM recovery creme in the evenings with the device on the face setting. The PM recovery creme is an intensive night cream that helps your skin recover while you sleep.

My first impressions are wow! I love how gentle the device is, and am already noticing that my skin is brighter and healthier. I'm looking forward to the long-term results of reduced wrinkles and healthier skin that looks and feels younger. In a few weeks I'll return with a full update review including before and after pictures of my problem areas around my eyes as well as the increased radiance and youthfulness of my skin around my face and neck.

Bermuda Cruise ~ The Island

Bermuda Cruise ~ The Island

A few weeks ago, I recapped the ship for our cruise to Bermuda. Today, I'm going to talk about the two days we spent docked at the beautiful island.

After a fun day at sea, we arrived at the gorgeous island of Bermuda. We disembarked, and my patient hubby did a quick blog shoot (for this post), and we walked around the port area checking out shops and the naval dockyard before our afternoon transfer to Horseshoe Bay Beach.

I was so excited to go check out the world famous beach with the pink sand, and it did not disappoint! I was in awe of how gorgeous the water was, and it was surreal to see the beautiful pink sand. Pictures just don't do this place justice!

After the beach, we got back on the ship for some lunch and pool time before disembarking again to do some more exploring. We stumbled upon Fun Golf which is the most gorgeous mini-golf course ever, you can't beat putt-putt with a view!

We then went to go get ready for dinner at the steakhouse that evening to celebrate H's birthday. The food was amazing, and the service was phenomenal. If you're ever on a Royal Caribbean ship, definitely book a dinner at Chops Grille!

The next morning, we enjoyed breakfast on the balcony before disembarking back onto the island. My ever so patient hubby did a second blog shoot for me (for this post), and we did some shopping before boarding a catamaran for our Devil's Isle Snorkel and Kayak excursion.

The catamaran ride over was picturesque, and we even got to see some training for the America's Cup which was neat. We went by a shipwreck, saw a lot of fish and sea turtles, and then dropped anchor so we could snorkel, kayak, paddle-board, and lounge at leisure.

I was so sad to head back to the ship because I knew our time in Bermuda was over, and we'd be sailing back towards the U.S. I had always been told that Bermuda was beautiful, but I was not expecting it to be more beautiful than the Caribbean islands I've visited or even Fiji. If you ever have a chance to fly or cruise to Bermuda, go as fast as you can!

Red, White, and Stripes

Red, White, and Stripes

I couldn't be more excited for the upcoming holiday weekend. Summer is hands down my favorite season, and 4th of July weekend is the ultimate summer celebration. Other than fun in the sun with friends and family, fireworks, and great food and drinks, is festive fashion. When I saw this hat in the one spot at Target, I knew it'd be perfect for the 4th of July paired with my new J.O.A. blue and white striped dress

Happy almost 4th of July Weekend!

Gender Reveal Weekending

Gender Reveal Weekending

This weekend was a total whirlwind, it was our 6th wedding anniversary (seriously where has the time gone?!) and our gender reveal to find out if this bump of mine is team blue or team pink.

We went out for our anniversary dinner the night before since the gender reveal party was on our actual anniversary. We went out for Italian *of course*, and our waiter brought out a giant slice of tiramisu with our check to congratulate us which I thought was super sweet.

Then it was time for the gender reveal baby-q at the house. I went back and forth on wearing a pink or blue dress, and ended up in a pink and blue bathing suit and a cover-up the whole time which was perfectly comfortable. I'll leave you with a few snaps from the party as well as what color that beautiful cake was when we cut inside...
