Rose All Day

Rose All Day

With the weather warming up, I've got my mind on weekends spent by the pool and at the beach and I cannot resist this hat from Express. Go into the store or shop online with one of the coupons they send in the mail, and receive $15 off a $30 purchase. Yes please!

Sun Hat - Express

Around here it's pretty well known that I have an undying love for coffee and bubbles hence my need for that hat above because pink bubbles are even better! I stumbled upon the cutest coffee shop while walking around the neighborhood on my lunch break, and the best part about it is you name your price as it's a donation only coffee shop where your money makes an impact.

Target is my happy place, and they're killin' it lately in the shoe department with all things block heels. I need these because pretty bows and these Valentino dupes are my kind of price. Plus, it's Target so you will save 5% + free shipping with your Red debit card, and don't forget to look out for Cartwheel deals!

I've been on the hunt for an airy dress that will take me into the transitional weather of spring where it's warm, but not too hot yet. This dress at Nordstrom fits the bill perfectly, and it's currently 40% off. I love the lace-up detailing, the bell sleeves, and how simple yet pretty it is.

I can't get enough of moto leggings this season. Since I'm still shedding a tear for the loss of my olive BP. leggings, I was excited to not only find these pants at Target, but also a 20% off cartwheel deal for them to save even more. Just like the BP. leggings, they can be dressed up or down with statement jewelry and heels or with sneakers and a graphic tee for a cozy chic look.

Hello Monday

Hello Monday

Well hello Monday, we meet again! This weekend was the perfect mix of fun and relaxation which kicked off with a happy hour with Pamela for our favorite 2 for 1 margaritas.

Saturday was a quiet day with a good workout, errands, and a cozy movie night. I still hadn't seen The Walk, and parts of the movie caused me to feel like I couldn't breathe! Such an amazing story!

Sunday was a gorgeous day, so we decided to go get coffee and take lil' miss for a walk down by the lake. I tried out the King Cake Latte which was delish!

I also saw that the ever so beautiful adidas Superstar Sneaker in metallic were back in stock at Nordstrom, and finally pulled the trigger. Plus I cashed in my triple points day for Nordstrom Rewards - win win!

The Best is Yet to Come

The Best is Yet to Come

I started freaking out as my 30th birthday approached a few summers ago, and now I look back and can honestly say that my 30's are far surpassing my 20's. I'm more established, confident, healthier, and am all around happier. I also travel more, and still love a good night out. But what is creeping up to remind me I'm not that fresh faced 20-something anymore are wrinkles and fine lines. Injectables used to freak me out, but now with the extra comfort measures and quicker procedures I'm definitely ready.

Injectables: It's Really Easy to Give Them a Try

If you've got a bothersome line, wrinkle, or an area of your face that's looking a little flatter than it used to, you've probably entertained the idea of injectable treatments. But if something's still holding you back — time, fear of needles, or worries about getting your money's worth — those apprehensions may be misplaced.

More Comfortable
Yes, injectable treatments require the use of a needle, but they're not nearly as painful as some needle-phobics expect. Many injectables, including the ever-popular JUVÉDERM®, come already formulated with lidocaine, an exceptionally popular and very effective anesthetic.
That's not to say you'll feel absolutely nothing, but it's safe to say that a quick pinch is about as bad as it gets. After treatment, ice or a cold compress can help a lot, and any residual redness, tenderness, or itching will typically go away within a day or so.
Increasingly, doctors are putting a big emphasis on patient comfort, too. Especially at practices with a day spa or medical spa component, many have the concept down to a science. Some, like Dr. Edward Gross of metro Orlando, offer BOTOX® and other injectable patients the option of nitrous oxide (that's "laughing gas" to us laypeople) to help take the edge off during treatment.

Faster In and Out of the Office
In a really efficient doctor's office, an injectable treatment can last only a few minutes, getting you back to your regular daily activities in a flash. Once your appointment is over, there's no downtime or recovery to worry about. You can return to work, home, school, or wherever your day takes you, as soon as you'd like.
Keep in mind that some doctors advise against strenuous activities, such as working out, for the remainder of your treatment day. But that's about as disruptive as an injectable treatment can be to your normal daily routine.

Results Now, Results Later
With injectable dermal fillers, there's no reason to choose between seeing results instantly and seeing results in the long term. Hyaluronic acid-based fillers add volume to wrinkles instantly, so you'll be looking your best as soon as you leave your appointment — and more importantly, the results of some of today's fillers can last more than a year.
BOTOX is a bit different, though. While it's still an injectable, it's technically a neuromodulator. It works by temporarily blocking the nerve signals to the muscles that cause us to be expressive in ways that produce wrinkles. It takes some time for it to fully take effect, so patients can expect to see their results emerge about a week after their initial appointments, with a smooth, lifted look lasting between 3 and 6 months.

Best of all, injectables can be administered completely on your terms. Whether you'd like to undergo a single session in preparation for a special day, or you're ready to make injectable treatments a regular part of your beauty regimen, working with an experienced plastic surgeon or dermatologist can help you look your best in a way that blends seamlessly with your lifestyle.

Have you ever tried it? If not, are you considering any treatments to treat wrinkles?

One of my all time favorite tops is the Barcelona Cami from Express. Not only is it reversible and essentially two tops in one, but it can be worn all year either on it's own or under jackets and cardigans. It was perfect for a relaxing day at a local coffee shop and for drinks on the lawn at the brewstillery.

Champagne Friday

Champagne Friday

Happy Friday! Speaking of champagne, I finally picked up a bottle of Veuve Clicquot a few weeks ago, and now I find myself needing this coffee table book.

I also follow them on instagram, and Florida girls... we need to go to their VCC next year (Veuve Clicquot Carnaval - more details here)!

Every year, they transport the excitement of Carnaval to Miami at the beautiful Perez Art Museum. It's an international celebration featuring traditional carnaval entertainment, samba dancers, drummers, and live music all amidst the beautiful lush Miami landscaping. All of my favorites combined - Miami, champagne, and festivals. And can we talk about how I need one of those VC glasses? So pretty!

All this champagne talk has me even more excited for our upcoming trip to San Francisco and Napa Valley. I love winery tours and tastings, but to do it in the heart of wine country will be surreal and an amazing experience. Bring on the wine and bubbles!
