I'm on a roll here with the fun pink and red pieces perfect for Valentine's Day and/or Galentine's Day fun with your best girls whether the occasion is fancy or casual chic. I think both of these dressesfromFemme Luxeare perfect for either celebration, and can be re-purposed throughout the rest of the year.
I can't get over how cozythis sweater dressis, and love that it can go over leggings or simply with a fun pair of boots. It's no secret I'm all about comfort, and can't get enough of all theco-ords options.
I always tell Lil' Miss that she's my heart, so it was only fitting that I rocked this heart pattern sweaterwhile chasing her around a new to us playground over the weekend. The weather was perfect - not a cloud in the sky and temps in the 60's. Perfect for running around at the park.
I'm also obsessed with this beautiful new marble watchand knot cuff from MVMT. They compliment each other perfectly, and go with all of my looks at the office or at play on the weekends.

After some fun at the park, we headed over to The Half Wall for dinner and drinks. I was eyeing their martini list, but ended up taking advantage of their happy hour special of $3 cans. Hello spiked seltzer and of course mermaids. Lil' Miss enjoyed mac n' cheese (of course!), I literally licked the bowl clean of their beer cheese soup before enjoying a Greek salad with grilled chicken, and H had an amazing peanut butter bacon burger. I'm officially sold on the peanut butter and bacon combo - YUM!
It was so nice to get back out last weekend after quarantining myself for over a week. After taking lil' miss to a birthday party earlier in the day, and coming home for her to take a quick nap we headed back out to a local brewery for some local drinks and food. I pulled out the cutest cold shoulder dressfrom Femme Luxe and we enjoyed ourselves over some beer, wings, and a game of Giant Connect 4.
Hello Monday - I finally feel like I'm emerging from the cloud of sickness that was over me all last week. Whatever has been going around this year is no joke! Stay healthy my friends! Thankfully, I was feeling better just in time to take lil' miss to a birthday party for our friend's son over the weekend. I wore this pearl beaded top with a pair of comfy jeans to watch her try a rock climbing wall for the first time, and to climb up inside one of those indoor obstacle courses because she got stuck and then was too afraid to go down the big slide without mommy. I almost got stuck in the process, but love that my baby still needs me and hasn't gotten too big just yet.
Beating the sickness that plagued almost everyone in my department at work calls for sequins - double the sequins! Because they're not just for the holidays. I can't resist an opportunity to combine two of my favorites - a fun graphic tee and sequins! And I love how this look can be dressed up or down as the sequin pantshave a tie waist and are actually joggers! I chose to pair it with heels, but it would also look great with some cute sneakers.
I've been in a fog after a plague hit our department at work - it seriously has taken out about 90% of us, and it's been no joke. Both the flu and bronchitis have been circulating so I have been living in loungewear sets, and can't get enough of all the co-ords options that keep me nice and cozy whether I'm running to the store or camped out on the couch feeling like "death warmed up" - Emily from the Devil Wears Prada quote. Obviously I'm exaggerating, but man alive I'm looking forward to feeling like me again.
.... and pink, but today is about more leopard. There's no such thing as too much leopard - repeat after me! This pencil skirtis perfect for 9-5 or paired with a slinky top for girl's night out. And dare I say it's comfortable? I have a love-hate relationship with pencil skirts, as they can be slimming and are the perfect balance of office chic, but some of them are downright uncomfortable. This beauty however, is the opposite and has the right amount of stretch.
Pass all the coffee today as we head into our first full week of the year, and first full week in several weeks with all the recent festivities. Unplugging during Christmas break was good for the soul, and I was able to catch up with friends which was long overdue. Pamela and I had a fun Disney evening, where as soon as we saw each other we just started laughing since we were accidentally twinning in our leopard sweaters. Great minds think alike!
Happy New Year! Don't you love when Fridays feel like Tuesdays? Next week will be rough with a capital woof after enjoying a much needed break, and it's officially time to retire my festive reindeer antlers. We rang in the New Year at a friend's house, and I recapped the whirlwind that was 2019 hereincluding all the travel.
On Christmas Eve, we headed out for some good ol' fashioned Christmas Light shows and for lil' miss to run around to her heart's content at the park before going home to wait for Santa by the fire pit. I was excited to break out this slouchy sweaterand my favorite distressed denim complete with some fun head gear.
Believe it or not, I actually get pretty chilly during our Florida "winters" and couldn't wait to pull out this cozy sweatshirtfor some day after Christmas fun. It's seriously the softest sweatshirt ever and I wish I could wear it every single day.
