Holiday Glam

As much as I love a good holiday party, and finding the perfect dress I'm terrible at one thing - doing my hair. If it's not blow dried straight or thrown into a ponytail for a workout I've got nothing. I was excited to be invited to a local blogger event at Cherry Blow Dry Bar for a fun girls night, bubbles, snacks, and fabulous hair-dos that made us all ready for the fun parties coming up.

"Before" shot with a mimosa of course

"After" - so fresh and so clean clean

To complete the look, you need to add some glam makeup. The Sephora sale is going on through today, and I rounded up some of my fav products that'll help you achieve the perfect holiday glow for your next event or make great stocking stuffers for others. Save 15% off your entire order with code BIBONUS

I included some of my holy grail products in this round up, because they're THAT good.

My favorite brush EVER which has saved my hair from more damage, it works great on dry and wet hair for minimal breakage.

These masks are amazing, and at only $5 each they're they perfect stocking stuffer!

I've had my Clarisonic Mia for 7 years now, and it's still going strong. Worth every penny of the $99 investment, just don't forget to replace your brush head regularly.

The holiday scented NEST candle that comes in an ornament box makes a fun stocking stuffer, or can be a special surprise on the tree Christmas morning.

I can't get enough of the Becca highlighters, and this one is on major sale for only $17 + an additional 15% off during the sale. The Sephora Collection Luminizing Powder is a great dupe for only $16, and comes in 4 different shades.

Eliminate those dark under-eye circles (come on - we all have them!) with Kat Von D's Lock-It Concealer, and give your skin a dewey finish with this full coverage foundation. Now's the time to scoop it up with the sale!

And how festive are these brushes which are less than $30 for the whole set. Such a great deal!

Finish off your holiday look with a yummy and angelic scent and a great makeup setting spray. Now go deck those halls!

Friday with a Side of Beauty

Cheers to Friday! Speaking of, it's been a while since I've shown up here on a Friday. My work weeks have been insanely busy, but I still couldn't be happier.
Since Polyvore decided to sell out, and the site that bought them out not only doesn't offer product collages but has deleted ALL previous content my non-tech-savy self has no way to create pretty collages of fun fashion, beauty, and home decor items anymore. Yes, you read that correctly - any collage you made in the past with Polyvore is now G-O-N-E. I have a lot of empty posts now, and I'm not happy about it. If you know of an easy-to-use and shall I mention free site that can do what Polyvore used to, please share the love.

Ok rant over... and almost as obnoxious as all the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale posts in July (ok that's just impossible), today is all about the Sephora Spring Bonus Event for Beauty Insiders. Lucky Rouge-ers had early access to the sale, but VIB's and BI's were granted access today for 10-15% off everything.

My Sephora Spring Bonus Event Picks

NARSissist Wanted Cheek Palette - I got an email the other day featuring this limited edition palette, and can't get over how pretty it is. The range of shimmery pinks to matte lavenders and corals for buildable coverage is begging me to add to my cart.

UD Primer Potion - one of my holy grail products. It's a total game changer keeping my eye makeup in place all day and all night. No oily creases, no cracking, and staying fresh for hours.

Wonderlust Perfume - I got this for Christmas, and it just smells like vacation in a bottle. Perfect to ring in spring and summer.

Drybar Lemon Drop - I've raved about this brush the past few years, and just recently replaced it I love it that much. Great de-tangler without breaking my strands.

Scrub n' Mask - I stumbled upon this double duty exfoliating scrub and detoxifying treatment mask, and it'll be great to combat skin dullness. The fact that it's an ode to Rio is just a huge bonus.

Bath Bomba - another fabulous find from the Sol de Janeiro line because who doesn't love a relaxing bath and a glass of wine? Bonus points that it's made without gluten, animal by-products, propylene glycol, synthetic colors, or petrolatum, and is cruelty free.

Lip Pencils - When I remember to wear a fun lippie, these NARS lip pencils are some of my favorites! They glide on so easily, and are convenient to take on the go.

Light Chaser Highlighter - Becca highlighters are the best. What's even better? Becca highlighters on sale before the 10-15% off discount. You're welcome.

Makeup Bag - With my love of travel, I need something cute to throw my essentials in. This bag is truth.

Clarisonic Replacement Brush Head - I always put this on the back burner because it's a "boring purchase" compared to the other pretties waiting patiently on my wish list, but it's a necessity. I've had my Clarisonic Mia since late 2010, and it's still going strong. Best investment ever!

Don't forget to check out the sale section of the site, nothing beats a discount on already reduced sale items. Happy Shopping!

It's the most wonderful time of the year

So many sales, so little time! Express has been on point lately with their sales (currently 40% off everything), and I scooped up these pretties last weekend for only $30 ~ stay tuned to see them styled in next week's post! But right now, I'm all about the Nordstrom Fall Sale and Sephora's annual Beauty Insider Event. People ask me all the time why I love Sephora over Ulta and the answer is simple, better sales with zero exclusions. The sale is valid on every single item period.
Cozy Chic Sales
Necklace {40% off} - BaubleBar | Perfume {15-20% off} - Michael Kors | Boots {20% off} - Steve Madden | Ruffled Top {33% off} - Gibson | Jeans {33% off} - PAIGE | OTS Sweatshirt {25% off} - Treasures and Bond | Lounge Pants {40% off} - DKNY | Sweater Dress {40% off} - French Connection | Blush {15-20% off} - Hourglass | Mesh Leggings - BP. | Side Tie Sweatshirt {40% off} - Caslon

I'm all about being cozy this time of year, and live in oversized cozy chic sweatshirts, leggings, and stretchy jeans. I had been eyeing these mesh leggings for a year now watching them go in and out of stock, and I finally ordered them last week since they're currently only $23!

Since I loved my cold shoulder Caslon sweatshirt (styled here) that I scooped up last spring, I knew I'd love their side tie sweatshirt as well. Nothing beats cozy chic! And sales too of course!

Happy Friday! A very busy weekend ahead celebrating a fabulous friend's birthday with my first trip ever to St. Augustine. Such a beautiful and historical town less than 2 hours away, and I'm finally going to soak it all in.

So many beautiful colors and polka dots, and who doesn't want that gorgeous gold flatware adorning their Thanksgiving and Christmas dining room tables?

Fridays call for Cocktails and Confetti

Happy Friday! Baby girl has been home with us for the past week and a half, but this week was the first one where H was back at work and she's been my little buddy all day. Looking forward to some long awaited champs and happy hour on the patio this evening, and some fun visitors over the weekend to meet lil' miss.

It's that time of year that we all look forward to - the Sephora VIB sale. I can't wait to stock up on my holy grail products, and pick up items I've been eyeing for a while but couldn't seem to pull the trigger on and save 20% off the whole order. Save the date to save! If you're a Sephora VIB, just plug in offer code 20VIB at check out.

Another amazing sale is going on over at Kate Spade, save an additional 30% off sale items with offer code CHEERS. Happy Shopping ~ sale ends on Sunday, November 6th.

I'm excited to be back on the Rocksbox train, and am loving my first box of goodies. You can never go wrong with Kendra Scott, and how pretty is that cuff? *Swoon* You can sign up and receive a free month with offer code greenfashionistaxoxo. Always a fun mail day when the latest Rocksbox set arrives!

More goodies being enjoyed came courtesy of Influenster in the Flawless voxbox. This box was packed full of fun and healthy snacks, beauty products, and relaxing bath salts.

This polish (Sinful Colors Miss Klaws) is the perfect fall red, and I'm currently rocking it for this weekend. It'll also be showcased in my first post-bump outfit blog post coming next week.

Trying out new mascaras is a fun weakness of mine, and this tube of So Lashy by Cover Girl did not disappoint. Definitely in the rotation of my eye make up drawer!

This tea was not only amazing for you, but also delish! Best enjoyed during a relaxing bath with Dr Teal's Pure Epsom Salts. A nice bath after a long day is the best medicine.

Yesterday, I received the sweetest surprise in the mail from the fabulous Andrea. Lil' Miss can't wait to rock that adorable onesie while mommy enjoys a yummy holiday latte. And those owl stickers are too stinkin' adorable!

Friday Favs

Happy Friday!

*1 month til my Fridays can look like this again*

1. My Sephora birthday order came in recently, and I'm in love with everything! I finally pulled the trigger on Glow Kit, and also scooped up the UD Good Karma Optical Blurring Brush on sale (similar found here) and a fabulous Hourglass set for free with a VIB promo code. I also chose the Fresh birthday gift after Pamela suggested it over the Marc Jacobs gift set, and I couldn't be happier. The Soy Face Cleanser is amazing!

2. Speaking of Sephora, I keep forgetting to talk about my monthly Play! boxes. So far, the July box has been my favorite packed full of summer goodies including my favorite Smashbox primer.

3. Still loving the gorgeous butterflies at Neiman Marcus and the delicious dessert at Cheesecake Factory over the long weekend.

I also brought back to MAC (you can read about their recycling program here). I brought back 6 empties for them to recycle, and chose a free lipstick. Last time I went with a bold cranberry color for the holidays, this time I went with a pretty pink color that can go from day to night.

 MAC Bombshell

4. I can't believe we're already in September, and am starting to look into my 2017 planner because not only am I a basic blogger, but I find such huge satisfaction in writing things down instead of adding them to a digital calendar. No surprise here, but I'm eyeing the Kate Spade Gold Dots Large Agenda. Look how pretty!

5. I'm feeling the love this week...

I was re-grammed by Simply Workout for my But First Barre... then Coffee. Still obsessed with the barre top and barre socks. Two of my favs combined!

I was blown away and honored to be named one of 10 of the best bloggers in Orlando by topvillas in their recent post. They rounded up their favorites as a guide to introduce Orlando bloggers who serve up a mix of delicious recipes, Disney tips, and fashion secrets. It's even more fun that I know 2 of the other bloggers listed, such a great city!
