Happy Friday! It was a crummy week weather wise in the "sunshine" state, so I'm excited for the weekend and the return of Mr. Sun.
1. On Wednesday, I met up with a friend for dinner and drinks to catch up and go over the overwhelming need for a blog re-design. We enjoyed southern cooking and the best hurricanes I've tasted outside of Bourbon Street, and capped off our dinner with some beignets that brought me right back to Cafe du Monde. I can't wait for a much-needed new look in these parts, and to introduce you all to her amazing work.
2. Yes, I'm still talking about my trip to Islamorada two weeks ago #sorryimnotsorry. So I was excited when @islamoradatimes re-grammed my photo from the beach at the Guy Harvey Islander Resort. Take me back!
3. After Emily posted this pullover sweater last week, I couldn't stop thinking about it and knew it'd be perfect for a yummy brunch with bottomless mimosas. 5. With all the rain this week, I got some good use out of my raincoat that I picked up at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last summer. I loved how it kept me dry, and the hood definitely came in handy too. And the color... gorgeous! Perfect pop of color to brighten up gloomy rainy days.

A new blog design is always so much fun, I can't wait to see how everything turns out! And you seriously can't go wrong with Cajun food! We have a restaurant in Houston that I love visiting because the food will take me back to New Orleans too! I totally need that Champagne is always the answer picture!
