Some Sunshine for the Rain

With all the rain we've been experiencing lately in the so-called sunshine state it was high time I purchased a nice raincoat to help keep me dry in the storms. I picked up this raincoat during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last month, and even though it's way too warm to wear it right now I'm excited to pack it for my trip to CT in the fall, and to rock it during any rainstorms once it cools off around here.

    I absolutely love that color and the fact that it has a hood is just amazing!! You can never go wrong with a classic trench in a beautiful color - even if you live in Florida because as it cools off you will be able to wear it there and it could actually take you through december lol!     Love a good trench coat and that color is GORGEOUS, just gorgeous! I think a bright colored coat makes up for a rainy cloudy day. You look fabulous, lady!

    Love that coat!! I got a similar style coat last year for Christmas in red and I'm obsessed with it. Its nice to add a bit of color to outfits in winter.

    Is this the coat that you did the shoot and was so happy to get off as it was so stinkin hot? Well it better cool down cause you are a STUNNER in this and have to show it off during more rains!!! The fact that you paired it with the green bag just shows how stylish you are!! ;-)

    Love that rain coat. I have a feeling I'll be needing one for when I move to Texas since they have had a crazy rainy year so far. Completely agree with the other commenters, blue is SO your color girl!

    I got an awesome MK rain jacket at the Nordstrom sale four years ago that I still love. He makes fantastic coats! This looks so great on you and I love that you got it in your signature shade ;)

    That color is so fabulous and looks great on you!!! It is most certainly important to have a good rain coat around when you live in the south. You just never know when a storm will pop up! I have a sporty one, but I need to get a dressy one like that!
