Relaxing Weekending

After all the fun last weekend and my whirlwind trip to CT, NYC, and Boston the weekend before it felt absolutely glorious to relax and recharge this weekend with not much on the agenda.

But before I get into my recap, can we please talk about the announcement that Sephora is releasing a subscription box called Play! for only $10! Move over Rocksbox, and make room for some fabulous monthly beauty samples from one of my favorite places! The monthly subscription box will contain 5 samples of makeup, hair, and skincare products plus there will be in-store events called Play! Dates... how awesome is this?! The only sucky part is, it's only launching in Boston, Cincinnati, and Columbus next month with more unspecified cities to roll out in 2016.  *Fingers crossed* for Orlando! Have you heard the news? What are your thoughts?

After the seemingly never-ending rain the past week and a half it was so nice for Mr. Sun to come back out and greet the sunshine state on Friday.

Fridays also call for Starbucks runs with one of my fav co-workers. Cold brew coffee for the win (again)! That evening, it was time for some takeout enjoyed on the patio, and then some Wii games inside. It had been too long since I picked up my favorite Wii remote...

Saturday, I stopped by my fav neighbors for a quick visit before going on a bike ride and getting ready for the day. I made a batch of buffalo chicken dip, and headed over to a friend's house to finish up our Harry Potter marathon. But not without a pit stop at another friend's house to meet his adorable new pupper named Vader.

....and I found this hilariousness framed and on the wall in his powder room downstairs. This was what he walked away with as his white elephant gift at my Christmas Party last year. Yes, those are two of my friends and yes they actually posed for and purchased that photo on a cruise last year.

*HP finale called for pink champs*

Sunday called for homemade pancakes on the patio, a good workout, some pool time, and housework while getting ready for the week ahead.
