Summertime Favs

Summertime Favs

As always, I'm in total disbelief that another month is almost over. I'm excited for the kickoff to birthday month, but don't enjoy seeing summer go by at such a rapid pace.
It's my favorite time of year with the extra sunshine, time spent outdoors, and breezy outfits. I always get so sad as it begins to get darker earlier, and try to savor every moment filled with light.

These Valentino Dupes have been on serious repeat, and with them only being $19 I'm tempted to pick up another color! They go with everything - dresses, skirts, pants, shorts, etc...

This top is still on major sale for only $5! I love the strappy detailing in the back, and that it was comfy and cool while we went to the food truck event last weekend.

Look out for a giveaway on my Instagram to win this ring from AUrate. I can't get over how pretty the infinity hearts are!

Another super affordable and cozy find was this button front top for only $12. It comes in 2 colors and goes great with shorts or skirts and can be dressed up or down.

I seriously cannot get enough of this dress which has me craving another beach vacay. It comes in 5 colors, and is only $27.

I'm all about flowy tops especially in the heat, and I fell in love with the bright color of this one which pairs perfectly over a bralette and is only $20. Just add a pop of leopard!

This fun romper is another piece that has kept me comfortable in the summer heat, and is only $21. Perfect for brunch or happy hour cocktails with the girls.

My athleisure game is still going strong as well as my love for supporting local shops. Good Vibez Clothing Co. is local to Central Florida, but they offer free shipping on all their products within the United States. Use offer code GREENFASHIONISTA20 for 20% off your entire order + FREE shipping.

We also have been enjoying weekend trips to the beach and of course trips to get ice cream. Sandy hair and ice cream cones is what summer is made of.

If you've been following along for a while, you'll remember that a few years ago we started having "Sopranos Nights" with our neighbor besties. We would get together, have an Italian meal, and watch several episodes of The Sopranos. Well... sadly they moved away *insert tear*, but we recently discovered that the entire series is available to stream on Amazon Prime (you're welcome) and picked up where we left off. I'm still amazed at how much comic relief is a part of this show which is much needed when watching something so heavy.

Oh... and it's officially Shark Week! Excuse me while I overload my DVR to enjoy it for much longer than a week.

Novel Lucerne and Sweet Treats

Novel Lucerne and Sweet Treats

Last weekend, I had fun touring the beautiful new Novel Lucerne located just south of downtown Orlando or as us locals call it "SoDo" (South of Downtown Orlando).

Romper {Only $21} Sandals {Only $19}Sunnies | Clutch | Necklace | Lipstick

We started off in the beautiful clubhouse overlooking the pool with of course mimosas. I mean... is it even a blogger event without mimosas?

*How gorgeous are those floors*

We were also treated to a braid bar by Blo Orlando and I rocked my fabulous side braid for the next two days wishing I could re-create this look on my own. Why am I such a dunce at doing my own hair?

We enjoyed a yummy brunch before setting out on a tour of the various amenities and the units themselves. The first stop after the pool area was the on-site fitness center.

......and yoga?! YES please! Namaste.

Time to head out to the beautiful pool area with my new beach bag!

Moving back inside, we checked out the beautiful mail room reminiscent of Diagon Alley.

The first unit we toured was a one bedroom with a den, and I still can't get over all the beautiful touches and the huge balcony overlooking the pool.

LOVE the extra large balcony that has an entrance from the living room, and another from the master bedroom.

*BRB - moving in!*

We then went over the skywalk which boasted a view of the downtown skyline to go tour a 3 bedroom 2 and 1/2 bath unit. But first... was a stop at the elevated courtyard complete with a greenery wall.

As we made our way downstairs, we stopped into the art gallery which is also where you wait for your Uber or for your Uber Eats order. In a space as pretty as this, I'm pretty sure that's where I'd enjoy my takeout!

We capped off the fun tour with sweet treats from Cay Cakes which specializes in organic and allergen friendly baked goods. I took home a brownie and a chocolate chip cookie to enjoy with the fam, and we all gave the treats two thumbs up. Delish!

As I mentioned here, I had a huge internal struggle regarding whether or not to share my picks from the infamous Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Ultimately, I decided to share affordable finds along with a bunch of "wear now" pieces. Because honestly, I'm beyond OVER seeing a bunch of people wearing the same cardigans and boots in the middle of July. All of my picks are under $100, and in most cases well under $100. And drum roll please.... the sale is now open to everybody! Happy Shopping!
