At least I'll be starting the day with my free birthday drink from Starbucks - YUM! Oh how I love Birthday Month! Plus, I'm treating myself to a massage after work which I'm very much looking forward to!
Friday, I worked from home while Roxy teleported around the house to her different sleeping spots before getting ready to meet friends for happy hour and kick off Birthday Weekend Part 1.
*Happy Hour Stop #1 where I had my first Hawaiian Cosmo- love the outdoor setting*
*Same crew from last year's shenanigans*
Saturday, I went to my very overdue hair appointment. It had been at least 5 months since my last appointment, and my hair needed some serious help. To my defense - my stylist had been out on maternity leave, and I waited until she returned. She took off the dead ends, and gave me a deep conditioning treatment to help repair the damage. I'm all bright, shiny, and new again with fresh caramel highlights.
That evening, it was time for hibachi with some friends which turned into an all night "paint the town red" kind of evening. Which then turned my beach plans for Sunday into a lay on the couch and watch swimming and gymnastics day. Amazing times filled with us all doing sake bombs, and lots of chanting throughout dinner before continuing the fun at a few more spots.

This is such a fun weekend!!! I still ned your eat cake mug....NOW! How did you like the sake bomb?? I still have to try one....kinda scared haha!
ReplyDeleteSorry that you worked on your birthday. :(
ReplyDelete"teleported" - This image came to mind of Roxy disappearing and magically re-appearing in places. Sometimes our Saint seems to do that. I think she is in one room, then I enter another and she is somehow there already.
Happy Belated Birthday! Looks like you had the best time! And when you get to celebrate two weekends for your birthday, even better! xo, Champagne&Suburbs
ReplyDeleteSorry this comment is coming late, but I'm glad I got to reach out to you yesterday! It looks like it was a perfect weekend...glad you enjoyed it all!
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Birthday!! I had no idea it was coming up, and two Birthday weekends sounds like so much fun! Ugh, working on my Birthday...I did that this year and ended up leaving early. I usually take it off and will continue to do so. I've never had a sake bomb, and I'm always scared to try new alcoholic shots or drinks with strong shots in them.
