Birthday Weekending

I'm coming down off of Birthday Weekend Part I (Part II is next weekend since several of my friends were out of town this weekend), and dragging myself into work on my actual birthday today. How cruel is it when your birthday falls on a Mun-day?
At least I'll be starting the day with my free birthday drink from Starbucks - YUM! Oh how I love Birthday Month! Plus, I'm treating myself to a massage after work which I'm very much looking forward to!
Friday, I worked from home while Roxy teleported around the house to her different sleeping spots before getting ready to meet friends for happy hour and kick off Birthday Weekend Part 1.
*Happy Hour Stop #1 where I had my first Hawaiian Cosmo- love the outdoor setting*
Sunnies - Marc Jacobs | Bag - Kate Spade
*Same crew from last year's shenanigans*
Saturday, I went to my very overdue hair appointment. It had been at least 5 months since my last appointment, and my hair needed some serious help. To my defense - my stylist had been out on maternity leave, and I waited until she returned. She took off the dead ends, and gave me a deep conditioning treatment to help repair the damage. I'm all bright, shiny, and new again with fresh caramel highlights.
That evening, it was time for hibachi with some friends which turned into an all night "paint the town red" kind of evening. Which then turned my beach plans for Sunday into a lay on the couch and watch swimming and gymnastics day. Amazing times filled with us all doing sake bombs, and lots of chanting throughout dinner before continuing the fun at a few more spots.

  34. Sorry that you worked on your birthday. :(
"teleported" - This image came to mind of Roxy disappearing and magically re-appearing in places. Sometimes our Saint seems to do that. I think she is in one room, then I enter another and she is somehow there already.

  37. Happy Belated Birthday!! I had no idea it was coming up, and two Birthday weekends sounds like so much fun! Ugh, working on my Birthday...I did that this year and ended up leaving early. I usually take it off and will continue to do so. I've never had a sake bomb, and I'm always scared to try new alcoholic shots or drinks with strong shots in them.
