Kicking Off the Season

Tis the season indeed! Our annual Christmas party was over the weekend, and it's one of my favorite ways to kick off December. Festive treats, cocktails, and an always eventful White Elephant/Yankee Swap/Dirty Santa gift swap.

The Hostess with the Mostess

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Bring on all the holiday events, parties, and family gatherings. I never like to arrive empty handed, and rounded up some ideas to thank your hostess with the mostess if you're traveling this holiday season.
The Hostess with the Mostess

Tis the season for dry skin, so bring on all the hydrating lotions and creams. How darling is this Hands of Hope ornament? It makes a cute stocking stuffer as well.

I think something we all agree upon is a mutual love for coffee and bubbles/wine. This mug nails it with both.

I'm sentimental, and love filling my home with pictures of family, friends, and fun travels. There's no such thing as too many framed memories, and how pretty is this frame? I may have to collect all three beautiful colors!

A fun cheese spread is a go-to app at a lot of parties, and these cheese knives are too pretty to pass up. And because cheese which pairs perfectly with this wine tote

The holiday season = baking season, and I don't know about you but I get flour everywhere.... a good apron is key. And a festive apron is even better!

The smart home voice controlled devices are becoming more and more popular, and are on everyone's list this year. And with the Echo Dot dropping in price, and being only $29 it's a total steal!

It's not a party without fun glassware, and these stemless wine glasses are too cute and perfect for the season.

And never underestimate the trusty ol' gift card. Treat your host to their next cup of coffee or a candle from Bath and Body Works. Do I hear Champagne Toast?

Crisscross and Winter Whites

I have a thing for fun every day pieces that can be dressed up or down. During a recent trip to Kohls, I spotted this top and loved the crisscross in the front as well as the fun detailing in the back as well.

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

Happy Cyber Monday! I'm just going to ignore that our long awaited Thanksgiving break has already come and gone, but at least we are now full throttle into all things Christmas.

We kicked off the holiday weekend with a game night by the fire pit. PamelaKerri, and the boys came over armed with bubbles and a fun meat and cheese platter to enjoy.

Thanksgiving was a quiet day at home with the family over mimosas, lots of food, and the Thanksgiving Day Parade.

We ventured out on Friday morning for some shopping, but were back by lunchtime for leftovers and more relaxing.

Saturday was packed full of fun starting with our annual trip to the Christmas tree farm with friends to pick out this year's tree. Then it was time for FriendsGiving to see everyone over some more good food and catching up.

On Sunday, we decked the halls to get ready for our annual Christmas party which is already next weekend. Seriously, where has 2017 gone?!

Good Things Come to Those Who Wait

I had been eyeing these mesh leggings for about a year now, and watched them go in and out of stock. I almost pulled the trigger on them several times, and I'm patting my procrastinator self on the back because they recently went on sale for $23. Add to cart please and thank you! I'm so glad I waited because they are the comfiest leggings I've every worn. The waistband doesn't dig in which will be perfect for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow!

It's Almost That Time...

Monday, you don't look so bad when we're this close to Thanksgiving and it's going to be a short week. I can't wait to unwind with all the food, relaxation, and downtime with the fam. It's just such a cozy time of year.

Another busy weekend spent getting ready for Thanksgiving and our annual Christmas party, and even after all the fun last weekend we couldn't say no to the free beer festival downtown. Yes, free! Free admission and free samples from local breweries and of course my favorite - food trucks!

'Tis the Season

I consider Thanksgiving a cozy holiday, I can usually be found in leggings and an oversized tee or sweater depending on the weather in the sunshine state. But when it comes to all the fun Christmas parties I love the thought of more is more. Bring on all the bold reds, shine, lace, and sparkle!

With our annual Christmas party coming up, I have all things holiday fashion on my mind. I usually go with a fun festive dress and sparkly heels, but may switch it up this year. I know not everyone lives in Florida, so a fun metallic wrap comes in handy to keep warm.

Distressed Savings

As you know, I never pay full price. I do the majority of my shopping online, but I learned my lesson that sometimes you need to go in store not just for the deals but also because the products look different in person. I never would have added these jeans to my online shopping cart due to the web images, but in person I fell in love. I gritted my teeth, and braved a trip to the mall after receiving an email that all jeans would be $39 for 4 hours only... in store. It was worth it!
