Beautiful Weekending

The return of Monday after last week's long weekend, please pass the coffee!

On Friday, we had our family room finally painted so I spent the evening hanging back up the curtains, frames, and putting the entertainment unit and bookcase back together with movies and knick knacks. When we had the house built a few years ago, the whole house was painted in a beige that had yellow undertones. So slowly, we've been re-painting the rooms to give the house more personality and color. For the family room we went with an avocado green accent wall at the far end behind the entertainment unit and "greige" walls on either side leading into the kitchen nook.

Saturday was filled with college football and pool time before heading down to the riverwalk for some food and to meet up with friends.

Sunday was our maternity photo shoot at the park. Seriously where has the time gone? Here's a sneak peek, I can't wait to see the rest!

We also started discussing 2017 travel plans *my favorite*! On the agenda is a trip to San Fran and wine country and possibly Ireland. And I may throw in a cruise with my mom to thank her for all her help with baby girl when she arrives. We also casually discussed Iceland, which flights are surprisingly affordable to. I can see the northern lights and hot springs already! Isn't travel planning just as exciting as the trip itself? So much to look forward to!

Friday Favs

Happy Friday!

*1 month til my Fridays can look like this again*

1. My Sephora birthday order came in recently, and I'm in love with everything! I finally pulled the trigger on Glow Kit, and also scooped up the UD Good Karma Optical Blurring Brush on sale (similar found here) and a fabulous Hourglass set for free with a VIB promo code. I also chose the Fresh birthday gift after Pamela suggested it over the Marc Jacobs gift set, and I couldn't be happier. The Soy Face Cleanser is amazing!

2. Speaking of Sephora, I keep forgetting to talk about my monthly Play! boxes. So far, the July box has been my favorite packed full of summer goodies including my favorite Smashbox primer.

3. Still loving the gorgeous butterflies at Neiman Marcus and the delicious dessert at Cheesecake Factory over the long weekend.

I also brought back to MAC (you can read about their recycling program here). I brought back 6 empties for them to recycle, and chose a free lipstick. Last time I went with a bold cranberry color for the holidays, this time I went with a pretty pink color that can go from day to night.

4. I can't believe we're already in September, and am starting to look into my 2017 planner because not only am I a basic blogger, but I find such huge satisfaction in writing things down instead of adding them to a digital calendar. No surprise here, but I'm eyeing the Kate Spade Gold Dots Large Agenda. Look how pretty!

5. I'm feeling the love this week...

I was re-grammed by Simply Workout for my But First Barre... then Coffee. Still obsessed with the barre top and barre socks. Two of my favs combined!

I was blown away and honored to be named one of 10 of the best bloggers in Orlando by topvillas in their recent post. They rounded up their favorites as a guide to introduce Orlando bloggers who serve up a mix of delicious recipes, Disney tips, and fashion secrets. It's even more fun that I know 2 of the other bloggers listed, such a great city!

Army Casual

Even though I've been living in dresses the past several months to stay cool and comfortable, I can't say no to a fun flowy tee and my favorite jean shorts. I especially love the criss-cross straps in the back, and the extra airflow in the heat of summer.

How do you like to stay comfortable in the summer heat?

Lock it Up

I hope everyone had a fabulous Labor Day Weekend, that extra day off makes such a huge difference especially when it's a Mun-day doesn't it? My long weekend was filled with shopping, lots of great food, pool time, college football, and a trip to Disney Springs. And even in the Florida heat, my makeup stayed in place without melting off after brushing on the new Kat Von D Setting Powder.

Lock-It Concealer | Setting Powder | Setting Powder Brush | Concealer Brush

I was impressed that they sent full sizes of everything to test out, and can't get over the amazing coverage of the concealer in both shades. The brushes are high quality and super soft, and apply the concealer and setting powder flawlessly.

The concealer is perfect for covering up dark under eye circles and acne scars, while the setting powder locks your makeup in place and it keeps it looking matte even in the heat and humidity. Plus it adds a subtle glow to finish the look.

*I was sent these products to test out for review purposes by Influenster, but all opinions are my own.*

But First Barre... then Coffee

It's no secret that I'm hooked on barre classes (you can find my comparison of Barre3 and Bar Method here), and I also have a strong love for fun graphic tees. Throw in my love for coffee, and I'm sold!

Keeping up with barre throughout my pregnancy has been an amazing experience. But let me tell you dragging myself to class during the 1st trimester nausea and exhaustion was no joke! However, once I was there I was so glad I forced myself, and I always felt so much better once class was over. I truly believe that staying fit and active has helped me keep a lot of symptoms away (or minimal) such as swelling, back pain, and trouble sleeping. And cute workout clothes make it even more fun to get motivated and get to class.

Weekending

Hello Monday, I'm going to make you a little prettier by throwing some glitter at you! Glitter makes everything better doesn't it?

Friday was quiet with some takeout and a Target run where I found the best throw pillow ever. Bonus points that it's on clearance!

Saturday started off with a much-needed pedicure before an at home barre workout and pool time. My nail girl is also expecting a little girl, and is only 2 weeks ahead of me. This may have been my last visit before she's a mama!

Sunday morning I finally had my first cold brew from Dunkin. It tastes just like Dunkin Donuts coffee, but a little smoother. I enjoyed it with skim milk and 2 pumps of toasted almond.

Then we headed down to check out Emily and K's new house, and of course visit with Miss Lola. They outdid themselves with a spread of amazing food including ribs, chicken, and kabobs on the grill, and we left with full happy bellies.
