Weekending in Connecticut

After traveling last weekend to Punta Cana, and flying up to CT this weekend I am officially exhausted and in need of all the coffee this Monday morning.
I flew up on Friday after work, and had time for a quick bite with my mom and got to spend time with my little brother and my dad before calling it a night.

On Saturday I met up with my bff for breakfast, and then we went to a park and the canal trail to go for a walk in the fall weather and catch up. So good to see her!  
That evening I went to dinner with my aunt, uncle, my cousin, and his wife in downtown Hartford at City Steam. They had just released a new brew that day called "Naughty Nurse", and it was delish! It had a caramel flavor with a nice nutty finish and went great with our meals.


Sunday was time to shower my beautiful sister in-law and my little nephew. Afterwards it was already time to head back to the airport and head home. Whirlwind weekend indeed...
My little nephew is going to be so spoiled! And I love the pic I got with my mom since I only get to see her a few times a year. Of course a stop to see one of my favorite pups before heading home was necessary too!
