Another Monday morning, another week of me sitting here left wondering why the weekend always goes by too stinkin' fast.
I kicked off the weekend on
Friday with a quick happy hour with some work peeps before heading home and continuing happy hour by the pool. Happy hour at home consisted of some homemade skinny margaritas (recipe coming tomorrow) and grilled food before heading inside for game night and the kick off to the Subway Series.
Saturday, I enjoyed my
morning coffee outside on the patio before going on a beautiful bike ride. One of my favorite parts of spring time in Florida are the gorgeous magnolia blossoms that bloom this time of year. I went by so many pretty trees on my bike ride, that I decided to finally stop and take a picture of my favorite tree.
A sweaty bike ride calls for pool time, and that's just what I did for the rest of the afternoon and it was perfection. I pool-hopped between my house and my neighbor's as we were doggy-sitting their pupper Apollo. Look at him all handsome taking in the rays on the sun shelf? He was so happy to romp around and splash in the water.
Saturday night called for some food downtown at
Harry Buffalo with friends before stumbling upon some live music at the always-closed
Cheyenne Saloon and Opera House. It's closed every time I go by so it was a nice surprise to not only see it open, but for live music and all you can drink Coors Light. I'm not a fan of Coors Light, but $10 for unlimited bottles and I'll pretend it's Mich Ultra all night no problem.
*Buffalo mac n' cheese was delish*
I was completely blown away upon entering at how big it was inside, and the woodwork and detail was breathtaking. Dark lighting and iPhone quality photos can't do this place justice. Let's just say we were all walking around with our heads looking up for a while taking it all in.
The first band up was Diamond Dixie, and those girls were really good!
*Always a photo bomb*

But can we talk about the amazingness that is the new extraordinary rewards coming soon to Sephora?! I usually hoard my points for the 500 point rewards, but now we're also going to have even more reason to hoard those points for 1,000, 2,000, 5,000, and even 10,000 point rewards!
1,000 point reward will be a limited edition case from Kat Von D's collection filled with some of her best selling products.
2,000 point reward will be an ultimate collection of Urban Decay's naked collection signed by brand founder Wende Zomnir. (This will be definitely be what I'll hoard my points for!) I'm also wondering if this was a typo on the site, and it's really the 5,000 point reward because that wasn't mentioned.
10,000 point reward will be Stella McCartney fragrances stuffed inside her Falabella Shaggy Deer Foldover Tote Bag.
What will you be hoarding your Sephora points for?
