Herbal Essences Body Wash Review

I was so excited when I heard that Herbal Essences body wash was coming back. Target was dispensing coupons for the re-release for a while and I finally cashed in one of my coupons recently.

I chose "Hello Hydration" because it smelled amazing! It smelled like the perfect combination between their shampoo and coconuts. The best part is I could still smell it long after my shower was over which never happens with my other body washes. 

Such a great scent and staying power!

Weekend Shenanigans

After traveling the past two weekends, it was nice to be home this weekend and somewhat relaxed. 

~ Skinny vanilla latte and my Uncle Jesse yogurt... much to many of your dismay I still feel it's too early for a PSL... not until September 22nd ;-)

~ H went to pick up an iced latte at Dunkin Donuts and brought Roxy and the girl in the drive thru gave her an old fashioned donut. Too cute!

Keeping summer going this weekend...

Oh Friday I'm so glad you're here... yes it was a short week but you're much appreciated :)

Last night I enjoyed my 1st glass of wine in a very long time *embarrassed* -- I need to keep the house better stocked... while H enjoyed some Octoberfest and we watched the official kick off to the NFL season albeit delayed..

I'm just so happy to have H back at home after all the weekend traveling we've been doing and him being in Dallas last week. It felt amazing to enjoy a nice glass of wine on the couch with H and toggle back and forth with the Yankees game watch football.

Tonight is happy hour then hopefully a night swim... my favorite!

Tomorrow I plan on working out, cooking a hot breakfast, and then relaxing by the pool until we get ready for K's birthday BBQ. Can't wait to see Emily's new floors and patio! 

Sunday, I'm hoping we'll get started on painting our master bedroom... wishful thinking? Once I'm on a roll with decorating a room, I just want to go all out and get it all done. Some may call it impatience... I call it thoroughness :-P

Etsy I've Missed You...

Back when I was planning our wedding, Pinterest didn't exist *tear* but you know what did?! ETSY! I ordered an obscene amount of items from various sellers throughout our year and a 1/2 engagement because I was determined to make our wedding unique with tons of personal touches. Mission accomplished!

However, I haven't really ventured over to the website since, and all of a sudden I've gotten the urge to go decorate crazy at the house. We finally got some nice furniture for our master bedroom (I finally have a big girl dresser with a mirror! And bedside tables that weren't $40 at Target), so once we get it painted, I'd like to get some nice wall decor and my mind immediately went to Etsy. I've been on the hunt for a wall decal to go over our bed and something else to go above H's dresser.

Labor Day Shenanigans

Back at home relaxing after an amazing Labor Day Weekend with friends in St. Pete Beach. It feels good to be back at home with H and Roxy after H was away for work all last week. Home feels good, but I do miss the beautiful beach :)

I picked up H at the airport on Friday, we went to dinner, and then came home and packed up for the weekend. We hit the road Saturday morning to the west coast where a bunch of us had rented out a few beach condos. We spent our days drinking on the beach and our evenings grilling and making memories. Now we're all talking about when/where we'll do it again. So much fun!

Last Hurrah of Summer

... no it's not what you think... I'm totally not giving up on summer just yet! Even if I still lived in CT, I would be enjoying every last drop of warm weather and refusing to accept fall until the calendar told me to do so on September 22nd.

But we partied in Miami last weekend and this weekend we are heading to St. Pete with a few other couples to celebrate Labor Day Weekend. After this weekend, H and I are tapping out so we can finally relax after having such hectic past couple of weeks... sandwiched between all the madness H went to Dallas for work and I was super bummed that I couldn't tag along since I'm still so new at my job and wasn't able to go meet the fabulously hilarious Helene.

The whole time he was away every.single.noise made me act like this:

So ready for another weekend away with friends... drinking on the beach, BBQ'ing, and making memories.

Viva La Juicy Noir

If you're like me and your nose is a huge fan of Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy and Viva La Juicy La Fleur then you're going to love their latest Viva fragrance....

I'm also a sucker for their beautiful packaging.... love the bottles and the beautiful bows. So classy and girly.

So I ventured into my local Sephora on my lunch break *typical* and was excited to finally try it out. The bottle is beautiful and it smells amazing. It smells very similar to Viva La Juicy, just not as sweet. I think it would make the perfect fall and winter scent as I always felt the original Viva La Juicy was the perfect summer scent. My bottle of Viva La Juicy La Fleur literally just arrived in the mail yesterday, so I resisted the temptation to pick up a bottle of the Noir, but it's definitely on my list of must-haves once it starts to get cooler here in a few months :)

After spraying it on, I was able to picture myself wearing it while enjoying some champagne....

I've been blessed to go on a lot of shopping hauls lately with gift cards from my birthday and last but certainly not least I picked up a few things from Kohls and Bath & Body Works.

Just getting back from Miami and still finding sand everywhere... such an awesome weekend :)

Can't express enough how much I love that Miami is only a couple hours away by car and now I have the itch to return more frequently....

Southbeach, bringin the heat, uh

Party in the city where the heat is on...

All night on the beach til the break of dawn..

I'm going to Miami.. welcome to Miami!

Back for H's 30th b-day friends of ours gifted him with tickets to see his Rockies play the Marlins so we're all heading down to Miami to stay in South Beach and then go to the game... can't friggin' wait!!

Definitely continuing the b-day celebrations from last weekend and I still plan on donning my sash for some free drinks! 0:-)
