Gaming Weekending
Hello again! Taking a week off from blogging can be so refreshing, but I missed my favorite blog ladies! So much has happened in the past 10 days including my return to work after welcoming baby girl.
The weekend after the first full week of work post-baby couldn't be sweeter. I enjoyed some bubbles and lots of baby snuggles on Friday evening which was just what the doctor ordered. Saturday was for running errands before game night with Pamela, Kerri, and the boys. Kerri got to meet lil' miss, the girls made a delicious charcuterie spread, and we enjoyed lots of bubbles and laughs over the latest CAH expansion pack.
Sunday was about Super Bowl prep, and Nordstrom nailed it with this pic. As a girl who enjoys football and pretty sparkly things, I loved this post!
Life lately...
It's no secret that the majority of my blog pics are taken with my iPhone which I've honestly been ok with. This is my creative outlet, and I know it's not perfect. But I did want a nicer camera for better quality pictures when traveling and of course of baby girl. After talking to Pamela about her fun new camera, we decided to go with mirrorless in lieu of a DSLR since they won't fog up in the humidity which is key for this Florida girl. I can't wait for this pretty new toy (which is on sale!) to arrive, and of course my blog pics will benefit from it too!
Speaking of traveling, I'm also excited that our first official trip for 2017 is booked. It's funny that we went to the "San Francisco of the east" when we were in Lisbon during the spring of 2014, before going to SF and wine country. I couldn't be more excited to see the Golden Gate Bridge, the Painted Ladies, the Full House house, tour Alcatraz, and of course wine country!
