Catching Up

It's my favorite time of year as spring is merging into summer, but it's also insanely busy. Lil' Miss graduated from VPK last night, and had her kindergarten assessment at her new school. I took her to lunch after, and she ordered the biggest cookie ever for her special treat.

I was excited to catch up with some of my closest girlfriends over bottomless mimosas in the prettiest courtyard garden at The Wellborn which is a hidden gem in Downtown Orlando. I've now experienced this amazing spot during the day and in the evening and honestly can't pick a favorite!

On Monday night, a friend and I were treated to a pre-screening of the new Downton Abbey movie. I was jumping out of my skin excited, and ventured out on a Monday in who knows how long. It was AMAZING! Lots of humorous moments as well as emotional of course. Another brilliant addition to the Downton story. I already can't wait to see it again!

I also start a new job tomorrow. This was an extremely hard and emotional decision which was necessary for my mental health, my family and my wallet. I've been a bit weepy, and will miss some amazing people but also need to move on. I traveled all over the world, and built some amazing tools. However, it's time for something new and I'm excited (and extremely nervous of course!)

Congrats to Little Miss and to YOU on the new job! You will do great- it's hard to leave a place where you've built a work life, so to speak, but moving onto something new and exciting spurs so much growth!

I'm going loud on the prints in my new post and I hope you'll come by!
