Oh So Cozy

The temps have started cooling off here in the sunshine state, so I've been pulling out the cozier pieces in my closet like my faux leather leggings and this fun new waterfall vest from SheIn. I packed some of these pieces on recent work trips, and know they'll keep me warm as the chillier weather moves in.

And oh wait - what is that? It's the return of the mirror selfie! Please excuse the bare feet, we leave all our shoes in the mudroom since we have a toddler who plays and rolls all over the floor (and of course picks up the occasional dropped piece of food and eats it). Now that I've had my eyes opened to what could be lurking on the bottom of our shoes I can't believe I ever used to walk through the house with them on. 

But let's talk about this poncho! It's been so long since I rocked a poncho, and I fell in love with the fun detailing of this one. Especially those buttons! I paired it with a skirt for now, but will also layer it over jeans or leggings in the colder weather.

Another favorite cozy piece for fall and winter is this sweater that I wore while in Milan (recap found here) on the first night for dinner on the Navigli Canal.
