Work Pieces that Work

I've been on a kick lately of sprucing up my week day wardrobe. Partly because I didn't have a dress code for several years, but it was time to re-build my business casual looks. Finding pieces that work for the office, and are cozy? Sign me up! I knew when I found a houndstooth set that was also considered a loungewear set I would be comfortable all day between meetings.

When you're sitting at a desk all day or running back and forth to meetings, the last thing you want is to be uncomfortable. I get so distracted if a waistband is digging or I'm constantly pulling up straps or tugging at a pencil skirt, so this set is a total game changer!

Since it's still super hot outside, but always freezing inside the office (why is every single office always set to arctic zero on the thermostat?! Such a waste of energy in my opinion...) I love layering any look with a jacket which can easily be put on or taken off depending on temperature conditions. Even if I'm freezing, I tend to heat up quickly when on a call or presenting in a meeting. Does anyone else have this issue? Just me? K...
