H and I both took Friday off to enjoy a day date while lil' miss was at pre-school to kick off the birthday celebrations. We started the day with the Scenic Boat Tour in Winter Park (a must do if you live in or are visiting the Orlando area), and then grabbed some lunch on Park Avenue.
I wore my ultra comfy new pull-on shorts I received from Emily for my birthday. They were perfect for walking around in the heat, and indulging in all the food. Because treat yourself!
The next morning we packed up the car, and headed to Boca Raton to stay at the Waldorf Astoria Resort. Lil' miss was excited about the beach the whole way there, and quickly made friends in the pool when she wasn't digging in the sand. We stayed at the main resort, and took a complimentary water taxi over to the Boca Beach Club to use their pools and beach for the day.
*Our beautiful room*
*Vacations are for coffee savored on a balcony with palm tree views*
*Walking to my birthday dinner with my favorite girl*
They even had a Moet vending machine right outside the Serendipity shop at the resort. I think we should start a petition to have these in more places. Just a wonderful thought...
*My heart is officially full*
