Celebration Weekending

This was definitely the weekend to be outside, the weather was absolute perfection with warmer temps and low humidity after the rainy days earlier in the week.

Friday was my mom's birthday so we kicked off the celebration on Thursday evening with some yummy hibachi, and then some pampering at a new nail spa the next day. Central Florida girls, run don't walk to check out the new Tipsy Salonbar that just opened up in Winter Park. I can't rave enough about how clean and fresh it is, the staff are all super sweet, and you receive a complimentary glass of wine, bubbles, mimosa, or beer with any service. There's even a bar area for the guys to sit at and watch tv if they need to wait for you. Now through February 28th receive 50% off any hair, skin, or nails service. *Not a sponsored post, I'm just raving about this new nail spa*.

On Saturday, we met up with Pamela and the boys at the Downtown Food and Wine Festival. We had fun sampling wines, bubbles *of course*, and small bites. The weather was picture perfect, and we capped off the day with some dancing over near the DJ area where I was a total fan girl and caught a t-shirt that was thrown into the crowd. My heart warmed when I opened it up and saw that it said "Orlando Strong" on it.

*Free tacos? Yes please! Chipotle sure knows how to play damage control*

Outdoor Weekending

Another beautiful weekend has come and gone....... I always used to get this holiday off, and H is even off today, but sadly I could not extend the fun into today. Super jealous of everyone with today off! That extra day makes such a huge difference!

We kicked off Friday at one of my favorite spots where everything on the happy hour menu is 3 for $7 - apps and drinks before moving across the street for one last cocktail before heading home to baby girl. Oh and of course purchasing tickets to see Metallica in July, this may be one of their last ever tours so we knew we needed to jump on it.

Saturday was all about sleeping in (yes Serena is my lil' angel and lets us sleep in), running errands, and then a relaxing movie night. Sunday, I hit up the hot mess of chaos that are the outlets to take advantage of the holiday weekend sales before heading over to a friend's house to celebrate her son's birthday. I picked up this polka dotted pretty at the Kate Spade outlet, where they're having a 70% off everything sale through today. Run... don't walk and go take advantage!
