Date Night and a Spritz

It's officially fall, which for me means my super busy season at work. I say "super" because we are always busy, but this time of year is our busiest time and when we have our world tour. We kicked things off a few weeks ago in Vegas, and next week I'm heading out for back to back destinations on 2 different continents. It'll be the longest I've ever been away from Lil' Miss so know that even though I share a highlight reel on Instagram, that I'll be missing her and my husband something fierce and counting down the minutes until we are reunited.

Needless to say I've been prepping Lil' Miss that mommy will be away a little longer than last time, and to be a good girl (the promise of a present upon my return always helps). We also started talking about Thanksgiving, and what she is thankful for. Mommy and Da-Da were top of the list! And let's not forget my long-suffering husband who holds down the fort while I travel. I made it a point to squeeze in a date night before self-quarantining in preparation for traveling. We took advantage of Magical Dining to visit a steakhouse we still hadn't checked out yet, and it was DELISH!

After an early dinner, we headed over to a local outdoor theater that has a fun hidden tiki bar and restaurant to enjoy a nightcap at Eden Bar. I was just there for the $5 double mimosas, and of course the beautiful ambiance.

Speaking of fall - I'm a huge fan of colorful and fruity drinks no matter the season. So when Hotel Starlino reached out to me to try their Rosé Vermouth I was excited to re-create their Rosé Spritz to enjoy poolside. Hint hint - they're inspired by and located in the country I'm headed to next.

To simply re-create your own Rosé Spritz, all you'll need to do is combine equal parts Starlino Rosé, prosecco, and club soda. Serve on it's own or over ice, and add a grapefruit wedge as a garnish. Salute!
