The Friday before Christmas, we had a day date which was the first time in a very long time that we were able to be out just the 2 of us. I've had time with the girls, and he's had time with the guys but we haven't had couple time without lil' miss in months. We did some shopping, checked out a new lunch spot Teak Orlando Grill which had the most amazing gourmet burgers, and stopped for another cocktail at one of our favorite bars.
On Christmas Eve-Eve, we took Serena to see more Christmas lights. She loved that these lights "danced" to the music.
Christmas was cozy and full of fun gifts and family time, and one of my favorite surprises was this champagne bucket. Considering my love of bubbles, I should have had one a long time ago. I can't get over how pretty it is! No more going back and forth to the fridge for re-fills, because lazy.
Serena was spoiled to pieces, and got a new slide, car, lots of adorable new clothes, books, fun toys, and even a ball pit. She also received this adorable handmade mermaid doll along with her pet seahorse appropriately called Mr. Bubbles, accessories, pillow, and blanket from my talented momma (this whole set is available in her Etsy Shop).
The day after Christmas was picture perfect outside, so we took Serena for a nice walk around the lake and stopped for drinks and apps to sit outside and enjoy the weather and the views. I wore my favorite new graphic sweatshirt that I hadn't stopped thinking about since Biana shared it a few weeks ago. It's so soft, and can be dressed up or down. Best part is it's less than $18!

I also caught Serena's cold, and can't rave enough about the Medicine Ball Cold Buster drink from Starbucks' secret menu. It's a mixture of citrus and mint teas with extra hot water and steamed lemonade with some honey for anti-microbial affects. I'm now a believer, it definitely helped!
I felt better in time for a girls night with Pamela to catch up over pedicures and of course bubbles.
New Year's Eve was spent at a friend's house over good food, bubbles, fire pit time, and lots of laughs. It's safe to say I will be on the healthy eating train for a few weeks while I try to detox from all the holiday consumption. No more dessert and bubbles every day *tear*.
New Year's Day was spent cozy in pj's watching the parade and football which was perfect with the cold drizzly weather outside.
