Is that even a thing? I know there's Thoughts on Tuesday, but we're going to make it a thing today. It's been a while since I've done a good catch up post.
I lucked out with another fabulous Kat Von D voxbox, this time it was to test out the new
Saint and
Sinner perfumes. I love the light and airy floral and vanilla notes of the Saint, and when I'm feeling more spicy I will reach for the Sinner scent.
How darling is this elephant clutch? I won it at my friend's baby shower last week and it's hands down the best gift I've ever won from those shower games.
How is my baby 9 months already!? Time is absolutely flying, and I have to keep reminding myself she's not my itty bitty baby anymore. Plans have been in motion the past few weeks for her 1st birthday party - craziness! The theme and the date have been narrowed down, and the custom cake has been ordered.
The news of Chester Bennington's suicide rocked me more than I expected. Maybe it's because I've loved Linkin Park since they hit the scene, maybe because I remember rockin' out to them via Napster downloads, maybe because we got to see him showcase his amazing talent live on stage, or maybe it's because the wounds are still unbelievably raw of losing
my cousin. This is not a subject to be taken lightly, and I can't stress enough that no matter how hard things are they will always get better and there is so much and so many to live for.

My college self was a tad too excited for the limited release of Zima. I also had a strong love for Smirnoff Ice back in the day, but we all know Zima was the original. My fabulous neighbors brought them over a few weeks ago, and we've been enjoying them here and there with sweet sweet nostalgia.
I may live in Florida, but I definitely spend the majority of my time in the pool during the summer months. Life is just better in the water, and it's so relaxing and good for the soul after the hustle and bustle of the work week.
Speaking of good for the soul ~ $3 mimosas all day at a local sports bar and no dress code at work. Casual Fridays equal shorts!
