I feel like we just booked this cruise, and the countdown to boarding was so far off and here we are! We originally were going to Sedona for Lil' Miss' spring break, but the flights were ridiculous and we kept thinking about how once we get there we still need a rental car, pay for tours, and all of our meals.
We put that trip on the back burner, and decided to book a cruise instead where we drive to the port and most activities and all of our meals are included. Plus, we love waking up at a new island almost every day and enjoying the floating resort. I know cruising isn't for everyone, but we love it. Especially Lil' Miss. She proclaims it's her absolute favorite!

I tend to overpack when we aren't flying, but know what we do and don't need when cruising. No need to pack towels, snacks, or too many outfits. On a Caribbean cruise you mostly live in bathing suits and coverups by day and a romper or sundress in the evening. I also make sure to pack workout clothes for the on board gym, hats, sunscreen, and my own
hair dryer since the ones included in the stateroom aren't powerful and take forever to dry your hair. Other fun must-haves are
beach towel clips,
drink clips (that clip right onto the lounger instead of putting the drink on the floor where they tend to get forgotten about or knocked over), and Lil' Miss is excited to bring her new
Barbie boogie board for the beaches.
I also like to pack a tumbler to fill up with water before heading to bed or to take ashore, and we ordered a
custom magnet so we can easily spot our door as we are walking down the hallway.
What are your cruising must haves?
