Weekend Shopping Shenanigans

This weekend was pretty quiet and relaxing which was nice even though we didn't make it over to Hollywood Studios like I had originally wanted.

Friday, H's work rented out a movie theater for the screening of Iron Man 3. So he went to the movie and I went shopping for our upcoming vacay.

~ My hairdresser told me to try out Moroccan Oil for those pesky frizzies and I've been hearing prices from $30+ and then I saw over on Shannon's blog that she had picked up a bottle of Suave's Moroccan Oil at Target for much less. So, I picked up a bottle for only $5.99 and I'm already loving it. I plan on posting a review later this week ;)

~ Picked up a bunch of toiletries and of course sunscreen so we're practicing safe sun

Merona Flutter Top from Target in Bering Sea

Last week I tweeted this:

Welp... I just couldn't help myself and ended up buying another new one 0:-)

I'm usually a Victoria's Secret bathing suit addict, but I fell in love with this suit while shopping at Target.

I especially loved the detailing :)

Saturday, H and I went to the gym and did some more shopping. He got a new bathing suit at Kohls and I picked up some white skinnies and a new tank at ON. Everything in the store was 30% off for one day only.

~ Striped tank

I'm usually not a fan of ON pants, but I tried them on and they actually looked pretty cute so I picked them up for 30% off which made me a happy girl.

Sunday was the first nice day in a while, so we headed out to the beach for the first time since January. Yipes!

I enjoyed some Bud Light Limes and got through some more of Casual Vacancy/

Linkin' up with Sami for Weekend Shenanigans, hop on over and share your weekend shenanigans with us :)

  1. Old Navy and Target are two of my favorite stores to get inexpensive, but cute clothing. Old Navy jeans have fit me and looked good at all of my sizes...when I was a size 6 and even when I was my highest weight at size 18. I have heard lots about MOroccan Oil too...but I am afraid to use it because my hair can get oily sometimes.

  2. Old Navy has stepped up their game I think, especially in the shorts/pants department. Though I hate that the skinnies I got were 2 regular sizes up from what I normally buy. Doesn't help the ego. ;)
