Sunday Social ~ Thanksgiving

I can't believe we only have one full week of work left before Thanksgiving! Linkin' up with Ashley and Neely for Sunday Social and this week it's all about Thanksgiving!

1. What is your favorite Thanksgiving memory?

~ Not any one memory in particular, but I loved the traditions in our house while I was growing up. My mom would always have the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on in the morning while she was cooking, We'd leave to go to my grandma's and have a relaxing day with family over there and when we'd get back in the evening Home Alone was always on tv.

2. What is your favorite Thanksgiving food?

~ Green bean casserole, my mom's stuffing recipe with sausage and apples, and pumpkin cheesecake YUM!

3. What is a Thanksgiving tradition you and your family have?

~ I'm sure a lot of other families do this, but we always go around the table before we pray over the food and say what we're thankful for that year.

4. Show us your favorite Thanksgiving picture from years past?

Thanksgiving 2009 when we were engaged

Also from 2009.. that's my cousin in the middle giving the thumbs up. His fiance is sleeping on him and that's my little brother sleeping on the far right. I went and got a pickle and stuck it up his nose to wake him up. Let's just say that it didn't end well... he woke up and flipped me over by my arm. Ahhh.. siblings. 

5. What are you most looking forward to this Thanksgiving?

~ We have so much to be thankful for this past year, plus I'm looking forward to actually being home for it and relaxing this year. Last year, we drove down to Key West for Thanksgiving and as much fun as that was, I'm glad we'll be home this year, in fact I'm so excited, I already picked up our turkey today which is chilling nicely in the freezer :)
