Homemade Skinny Margaritas

**Before we get started, Emily and I have agreed that hosting Tuesday's Recipe Swap on a bi-weekly basis will be more manageable for us and our busy schedules. So starting this week, we will be hosting the link up every other Tuesday. I will make sure to remind everyone the Monday before, and through various social media blasts**

**And stay tuned for a special announcement regarding our upcoming Travel Link-Up!**

*****************************************************************
One of my all time favorites is a bottle of Skinny Girl Margarita, but I never tried making my own skinny margaritas at home other than using diet margarita mix. Now that I'm cutting out artificial sweeteners and unnecessary chemicals, I was looking for a more natural way to make them at home a la Bethenny Frankel. She uses agave to sweeten her product, but when I stu mbled upon a recipe that just called for fruit juices instead of sour mix I was immediately sold.

Ingredients

5-6 oz. tequila of choice (I used Patron)
2 oranges
1 grapefruit
2 limes
Splash of club soda
Salt to taste

Directions

Pour tequila into a pitcher over ice
Rinse and cut fruit in half and squeeze juices into pitcher
Add club soda to taste
Stir and enjoy

*Nothing says summer like margaritas by the pool*

You can also add a splash of blue curacao for some extra color and flavor. You can't go wrong with guilt free blue margaritas!
