Spring and Summer Bucket List

It's my favorite time of year! Yep, I moved all the way to Florida from Connecticut in order to enjoy warm weather *almost* year round. We definitely get some cold snaps down here that leave me wishing sometimes that I moved all the way down to the Caribbean. But I do love having an extended summer, and with that comes a lot of things I like to make sure I do each year when it warms up.

1. More boat days like the one we had last weekend. Nothing says summer like spending the day on a boat with good friends and yummy drinks.





2. River tubing... whether it's at the lazy river or at the springs. I love it all!




3. Go out for ice cream - I am hoping to accomplish this during a trip to CT in July, because I have a serious craving for some Cookie Monster ice cream from Rich Farm. Seriously the BEST!


4. Outdoor concerts and/or music festivals

*Florida Country Superfest in Jacksonville 2014*

*Starship at Epcot*

*Fuel at Epcot*

*Night Ranger and Tommy Tutone*

5. Baseball games

Last time seeing Derek Jeter play *tear*

First trip to Wrigley Field with Emily and K in Chicago

6. Fireworks


7. Outdoor movie and food truck nights


8. Take more trips with friends

*Bahamas Cruise 2013*

*Chicago with Emily and K 2014*

*Treasure Island Beach Condos 2013*

9. Mini Golf


10. Lots and lots of pool days

    Yes to all of these! I've already snuck in some mini golf this season, but I can't wait for all of the outdoor movies and festivals (and I wonder if there is anyplace I can river tube around here!)

    I love the simple little summer weekends like you had last weekend – it’s almost like a mini vacation but not. Haha I love lazy rivers – I think they are such a fun concept! Baseball games are a summer must – you’re going to have one great summer, lady!

    All of this looks like so much fun!!!!! I hope to make a few trips down to Gulf Shores this summer. eat some yummy ice cream or frozen yogurt, maybe spend a weekend or two at the lake, out door food trucks and events galore!

    Awesome bucket list!! River tubing is my favorite. So glad you're getting back for a CT trip this summer, we're hoping to get back in September or so (that ice cream looks sooo good right about now btw haha).

    It looks like you have a fantastic spring/summer planned! I can't wait for it to warm up here in Chicago so we can actually spend some time outside without freezing our booties off! ... and now I also wish we had a lazy river here!
