Relaxing Spring Weekending

It was so nice to have a relaxing weekend, and I was able to get in some much needed pool time which is always good for the soul.


Friday, I went to lunch with a bunch of the work peeps where I had the chicken at the seafood place, and also got to pick up my t-shirt and runners bib for the upcoming 5k. I'm still ridiculously nervous about it, but looking forward to it at the same time.


That evening, I munched on some delish spinach and kale greek yogurt dip from Trader Joe's and salad before heading up the road to meet Pamela for some beers and games while H had a poker night with the neighborhood guys.


Saturday, I met up with my aunt, uncle, and cousin who were in town at Seadog. It was so nice to see them and catch up, as I hadn't seen them in over 2 years. My dad's side of the family all started out in CT as I was growing up, but we are now all spread throughout the country and don't see each other as often anymore.


That evening we had our first deep dish pizza since Chicago, watched movies, and I went to bed at an embarrassingly early time which was definitely much needed.



Sunday was all about pool time and relaxation before getting some much needed house cleaning done.

    Yum to that pizza, and I love that Trader Joe's dip! Sounds like a great mix of fun and relaxation...I'm quite jealous of your pool time! :)

    That TJ's dip is my fave! It is so good! How cute are you girls out? So jealous, it looks like so much fun!! I love you but I cannot support your choice in beer koozies ;)

    OMG how was that pizza? It looks amazing and I've been wanting to try a local deep dish. Not that I've ever had a Chicago deep dish... LOL! Yay for drinks and games on Friday night! We definitely need to do that again... where else can you play Sorry! and have a few beers? Love it! Happy Monday doll!
