Birthday Cruisin to the Bahamas

How do you recap an amazing trip in just a few dozen photos?

10 of us booked a cruise to the Bahamas to celebrate our friend's 30th birthday and it was the most fun trip I've ever taken. I highly recommend booking trips with friends, it brings you closer together and creates priceless memories and inside jokes that'll last a lifetime ;-)

We've done a lot of weekend getaways this year with friends, and we've all agreed we should make it an annual thing. So many great memories made in Miami, Labor Day in St. Pete, and now the Bahamas cruise.

Yep that pretty much sums up the weekend...

Day 2

Day 2, we docked in Nassau and went over to Paradise Island to go to the beach. We had an awesome cab driver who got a kick out of our group's shenanigans. If you're ever in Nassau and have a cab driver with a beard named Phil tell him I said what's up!

We then made our way back into town and went to Senor Frogs for some yard drinks which is a necessity whenever there is a Senor Frogs near by. Afterwards, I did a little souvenir shopping in the straw market before making my way back to the ship to get ready for the birthday dinner.

Many great toasts and speeches were made to the birthday girl and of course there was cake. Afterwards, we headed up to the White Hot Party on the top deck under the stars. SO.MUCH.FUN

Day 3

Day 3, we went to Norwegian's private island Great Stirrup Cay. It was beautiful there, and I loved that it was owned by the cruise line so the bbq lunch was free and so were all of our drinks since we all had the unlimited drink package.

On the last night, H wore his Chiefs jersey to watch them take on the Broncos. Sadly they got their 1st loss of the season, but it was pretty cool to be sitting in a sports bar and watching the game at sea. We felt like we were racking up a huge tab with all the apps and drinks that kept hitting the table, but that's the beauty of a cruise. There was no bill!

So sad that it's all over, but I am utterly exhausted and my liver is thanking me for the break.
