We kicked off the weekend by going to Happy Hour, and then spent the rest of the evening with our neighbors as we watched the blue moon rise. It was so pretty!
Saturday, I got my Betty Crocker on and made a festive red, white, and blue funfetti cake and some buffalo chicken dip for a BBQ-pool party at our neighbor's house.
Sunday, we had a birthday party for one of our friends at the beach.
Hands down favorite pic of the entire day:
H's back is hurting him today and he couldn't understand why until he remembered this pic being taken lol. We must be old farts :-P
After the beach, we went to a beach bar and grill for dinner for some yummy food.
Awesome group of people
Then we headed back home and our neighbors were still going strong down the street, so I made a grand entrance into their backyard with a big cannon baaaaall! We ended up spending several more hours with them having fun and then this happened:
As I said in my preview post yesterday, what happens when 4 grown men try sitting together on a swing?

Yep.. that happened and Zeus (doggy) couldn't figure out what was going on. It was absolutely hysterical!
Monday, we grilled again and enjoyed a more relaxing day. My headaches from stress have melted away having the long weekend, so here's to hoping they don't come back after hopping back in the saddle.
Hope everyone had a safe and fun holiday weekend! :)
So fun! That cake looks perfect!
