Bat Those Eyelashes

I was never really a mascara girl until the past couple of years when I started experimenting more with my makeup and learning how to smoke out my eyes and blend different shadows together. I'd like to thank fellow bloggers and my trusty Naked Palettes (both the original and #2!) for that.

I've tried out many mascaras and I always seem to go back to the same one. It's like finding your wedding dress, once you find "the one" you should stick with it and stop looking! I've tried drug store mascaras and designer brands from Sephora and Ulta and I think it's safe to say I have my go-to brand that I need to stick with.

I've also tried Cover Girl's Lash Blast since so many say they love it, but I was very underwhelmed by it.

In 3rd place, is my Smashbox Bionic mascara. It worked really well, but it still wasn't giving me the total oomph I was looking for *sigh*

In 2nd place, is Maybelline's Mega Plush. I was suckered into trying it by the commercial (there was just something about it.. great marketing!) and I definitely love it, but not as much as.....

My Maybelline Falsies

This is hands down my favorite mascara! I keep straying away from it thinking there's got to be something better out there considering this is a drug store brand, but I have yet to find something better. It doesn't create the look of false lashes like it claims, but it does give me the look of much fuller, thicker, and darker lashes compared to any other brand I've tried. 

I've been wanting to try Benefit's They're Real mascara, but I haven't gotten to test it out yet and I'm starting to feel like I need to listen to myself and stop looking elsewhere! It's like my wedding dress, I found the one and I need to stop looking! :-P
