Summer Workout Outside of the Gym

I talked about how I stay in shape here, but this summer I also started incorporating some more variety into my workouts outside of going to a gym. When someone from TKO reached out to me to try out their jump rope I was excited to add it to my routine. I've been combining the cardio from the jump rope with a great arm workout I found in Glamour

I love the ease of working out at any time and in any place, and I love how this piece has brought me back to days of playing outside when I was younger.

TKO workout ropes are affordable and fun. At minimal cost, they add variety to your fitness routine resulting in less boredom and an enjoyable way to get past an exercise plateau.

  5. Jumping rope is both challenging and fun at the same time - we do a rope sequence in one of the classes I take and it always gets the heart pumping! And the best part is knowing it's effective since that's how boxers train!! xo, biana -BlovedBoston

  21. jump rope is incredible for warmup and cardio...it's a must before every workout that i do. i skip for 7mins and alternate between fast and regular speed at certain intervals. for an extra arm workout, we use weighted ropes at muay thai, ouch!
