New City Weekend Favs

It's no secret around here that my all time favorite hobby is traveling and seeing new places, and I couldn't be more excited to hop on a plane this morning and head to Chicago for the first time. Looking forward to a long weekend full of amazing food, rooftop drinks with a view, site-seeing, and a visit to Wrigley Field. You can follow my new city adventures on Instagram and Twitter.

1. Love the pampering that comes before heading out for a trip... I got my first gel manicure since my trip to Europe in May, and a much needed pedicure. Being greeted with a glass of wine at the nail spa is just an added bonus.



2. I received my first Rocksbox, and am absolutely loving my jewelry pieces. More details to come next week, and if you have any questions on what Rocksbox is just let me know!







3. Pink champs is always a good idea... plus it's pretty...




4. Looking forward to checking out one of our country's most historic ballparks with Emily while drinking beer and eating hot dogs.





5. Started watching House of Cards this week on Netflix, and it's making me a little nostalgic for my college internship at the state legislature. I miss hob-nobbing with senators, representatives, and lobbyists... sometimes... not to mention Kevin Spacey is fantastic in this show!

    D LOVES HOUSE OF CARDS, as in season two came out on Valentines Day and he almost wanted to skip dinner..

    I have been loving all your photos on IG from chicago! D has been saying he wants to go sometimes (neither of us has ever been). There is so much fun to be had :) Cannot wait to see the post about it.
