Take me out to the ballgame

Today is the day I finally make my return to Yankee Stadium! I haven't been since the new one opened in 2009 with my family. This place will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will always be "that girl" who's an obnoxious Yankees fan - sorry I'm not sorry!
*Last year at Tropicana Field on my birthday - my 1st Yankees "away" game*
*My last time seeing Jeter at bat in person*
*At the new Yankee Stadium in 2009 with my grandfather - the original Yankee fan*
The original stadium in 2008 with my old roommate - Yes she was a Red Sox fan (boo!) which is why that stinker had on a pop of red *sigh*.
*First trip there with H in 2008 - we were babies!*
*We went back in August for my birthday*
I'm sure my parents have tons of old photos of me as a kid at the stadium kicking around, but those are the only ones I have digitally saved. Looking forward to creating fun new memories today at the stadium, and all throughout the weekend as I'm reunited with my CT friends and family. 
Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend! I'll be back in blog-land on Monday to resume regularly scheduled programming. After all the busy meetings this week at work and traveling, I'm looking forward to settling back into a routine next week. Happy Friday Eve!

    Oh I love memories like that where they go on for years and years!! You have quite a few digital photos, so that's awesome to see you through the years. Have a blast hanging out with family and friends!!

    Have a wonderful time. I have such wonderful memories of old Yankee stadium. Yes I am a Red Sox fan but I have much love and respect for the game. I don't hate the Yankees. I can't I love the game too much. Have fun, looking forward to hearing all about it.
