Whirlwind Week Favorites

Happy Friday! Sorry for the "radio silence" yesterday, I was at the convention center for most of the day for a work event. Then there was a big shake up at work which turned into all good things for me *yay*, but it turned my world upside down for a bit. I'm hoping to play catch up today and over the weekend on responding to emails and blog reading. But it's Friday so that just all around means YAY!
1. Favorite Afternoon - speaking of work.. we celebrated my boss' recent wedding at the office with a surprise get together of cake, champagne, and gifts. Champs is always a good idea, especially at the office!
2. Favorite Event - it was fun to get out of the office for a bit on Thursday, and network at ICAST. I don't sell for the fishing or outdoor brands, but I was able to find some companies that would be a great cross-sell into the travel brands I do work on. Plus I got the meet the beautiful Katie who unfortunately no longer blogs, but you can keep up with her on twitter and instagram.
3. Favorite Evening - it's been too long since I've been able to unwind to a Netflix movie, and Interstellar was amazing! It's one of those mind-boggling movies which I love! Add in the outerspace aspect and it was a win-win for me.

    I really liked Interstellar, too! We went to see it in the theater with another couple, and at dinner afterwards, there was a LOT to talk about. Sounds like a great evening to me!!
    And champs at the office?? YES! Sounds perfect!!

    I have watched most of the deleted scenes from the HP movies...none of them should have been deleted, I think! (Except for that ridiculous one from "Order of the Phoenix" where you watch Professor Trelawney eating for several minutes.) And of course, several scenes from the books should have been kept in.
