Practicing Safe Sun

I am all about practicing safe sun, especially living in Florida where the sun is no joke! So, it was perfect timing when a rep reached out to me to try out the Scala Lahaina Sun Hat right before my 4th of July trip to Key West.
I loved wearing it around Key West on the 4th of July, and it went perfectly with my red, white, and blue festive outfit for the day with the added bonus of providing sun protection with a 50+ UPF rating.

I also took it with me on our chartered boat day, and it provided great sun protection while I was on the boat and even in the water. It held up great in the salt water, and will definitely be coming with me to Punta Cana in October.
This hat has a small brim, and is made from 100% cotton canvas. It breathes nicely in the heat of the summer, and is easily packed away for beach vacations. My favorite part is it comes in 25 different fun colors, so now of course I want to stock up on more for upcoming trips.

    hats are a must for me! i'm terrified of sun damage/wrinkles so i wear a hat whenever i'm out and about. and i'm not talking about a fancy hat either; i'm talking about my ugly crocodile hunter hat LOL.

    Haha you took more fashion pics than I did in KW! Love it! And that hat is so fun! I love wearing hats, especially in the summer. Not only does it protect your face but I have the most sensitive eyes ever so that's plus!

    Definitely all about sun protection since I'm pretty fair and I burn easily. That hat looks great on you though, and its really cute. So is that swim coverup dress!! :-)

    I don't leave the house without my hat in the summer. I wear a hat not only to protect my face but also my hair. I pay alot of money for color and the sun just ruins it. lol. The sun lightens my hair so much, it makes me look like I have red hair when I really have brown hair.

    It's so funny to me that when I was younger I just wanted to get a tan and now I would rather do a sunless tan at home and be in the shade outside than risk getting burnt!! Thank god for growing up! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

    Always smart to protect yourself from the sun. I've seen some people with some CRAZY sun hats, but this one looks cute and I like that it is breathable and not too crazy or loud with patterns like some I've seen

    I have such a love/hate with hats! On paper, they always look so good but when I try them on, I'm always like 'oh, nevermind', ha! this one is really cute though and I love the way it looks on! The brim is a really good size!

    That hat is so cute on you!!! I brought a baseball hat with me to the beach for July 4th. I used to never wear them because I feel silly but now I decided I have to so that my scalp doesn't burn and it helps shade your face too!

    I have been on the search for a hat like this for my vacation! I do not like getting sun on my face anymore but even with sunscreen and a baseball hat I always manage to get more than I'd like. This looks great on you, too!
