Weekend of Dancing Lights

Even with the holidays being behind us, I still seem to not have been able to rest and be lazy to my heart's content. New Years Eve came roaring in and out with a vengeance, and next thing I knew my holiday staycation was over and it was back to the grind.


Saturday was spent at Disney, where I finally got to ride the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (fast passes for the win!), see Elsa, Anna, and Olaf transform Cinderella's castle into ice, and then ventured over to Hollywood Studios to see the Osborne Family Dancing Lights which were incredible! A must see if you're ever in the Orlando area around Christmas.

After leaving the parks, we ventured down to eat at Yard House and see the progress on the Orlando Eye which I can't wait to open!

The grilled cheese and tomato bisque was DELISH!


My parents flew in, and we started off their visit with some yummy drinks and southern cooking which I'm sure is all resting beautifully in my mid-section, but it was worth every sip and bite!

    Sounds like a fabulous weekend, full of fun events. Love that you're so close to Disney. It's so pretty with all the lights and that food looks amazing! Happy first monday of 2015!

    We've been to see the Osborne Family Lights a few times and AMAZING!! I need to get back down there at Christmas soon.. and now to see this Orlando Eye! Hope you're having fun with your fam!

    What an awesome weekend!! We will be there in a couple weeks and are JUST going to miss the Frozen show at the castle! I really hope we do get to ride the mine train, though :)
