Funday Monday

I don't know about you, but after all the fun of ringing in 2014 I needed a quiet weekend which is kinda rare around here. H has been working crazy amounts of overtime lately due to year end at his job and he even went into the office on Saturday and worked from home the majority of the day on Sunday (thankfully he gets paid OT pay for all this madness which is very rare for salaried employees. So thankful.) So, needless to say all of our plans we had for the weekend were cancelled. Which was more than fine with me, I was a little sad we missed out on our football party, but more than happy to oblige to watching the games from the comfort of my couch while enjoying buffalo dip and drinks.

The weekend comprised of finishing my new book, wine, football, the fire pit, and taking down all the happiness Christmas decor. I even found time for a bubble bath :)

It's no secret that Target is my happy place, and above is Exhibit A. I've been looking for a giant vase for the corner in the living room and I found one on clearance for $13.48 down from $44.99 so I immediately picked one up ever so carefully and skated through the rest of the store happy with my find.

I know I vowed to upgrade my mirror iPhone pics, but this is one of the last. Plus, H hasn't been around much to play photographer so my upgraded OOTD pics will just have to wait until he submits his big report for year end. It's been unusually chilly here in FL so I brought out my new flats and my mesh baseball tee from Express layered over a sparkly white tank. Cute and comfy.
