Achieving the Flawless Look

Ever since I had airbrush makeup done for a fashion show I was in and then again for my wedding day, I swore by it being the best way to apply makeup that not only provides great coverage but lasts all day and night. When I was contacted by a representative of Luminess Air to test out their machine and products, I couldn't have been more excited. I chose the matte package to help combat the heat and humidity here in Florida and it did not disappoint.

The kit arrived complete with the airbrush machine, a bottle of primer, several foundation shades, bronzer, blush, and skin brightener to obtain that beautiful glow.

This past weekend, I packed up my kit and brought it to test out on myself and a friend before heading out for the evening to celebrate the bachelorette. Our makeup stayed looking fresh and matte all evening through dinner and a night of live music and dancing despite the heat and humidity which usually leaves my face looking like an oil slick.

I applied the primer first, then the foundation, a little bit of bronzer and then the skin brightener around our cheekbones before finishing off with some blush. We were both impressed with how light the makeup felt while providing great coverage - much better than our usual powder foundations. It was neat that you only needed a few drops of each product, and it came out in a light mist. We made sure to continue moving the applicator around in steady circles for full coverage while holding the applicator a few inches away from our faces.
