The weekend before all the travel

This weekend completely flew by, and I didn't even feel that busy. But, Monday I thought we've been over this before... you and I are not friends. Oh well, I guess we'll have to be civil...

Friday started off with trying out Starbucks' cold brew coffee, and finally reaching gold star status. Whoo hoo! I also did some damage online at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and snagged a few items off my wish list.

That evening it was rainy, so I spent it curled up at home watching Wild with Reese Witherspoon, and a wet dog. Yep....my Miss Priss in the rain.
On Saturday, I started off the day with some pancakes from scratch before some pool time, errands, and then going out for some yummy hibachi to celebrate a friend's birthday.
I also finally cleaned my makeup brushes - let's not talk about how long it's been since I've done that, but I love how fresh and pretty they smell now!
Then it was time for some birthday celebrations which included my favorite - hibachi! Always a good idea!
Afterwards, the birthday girl wanted to go out to Bar Louie, where I only lasted for one more drink which I couldn't even finish because I was absolutely exhausted. I proceeded to go home for some quality couch time, and about 10-15 minutes into an episode of OITNB I fell asleep. Oh did I mention it was only about 11:00? Total old lady status over here!
Sunday was all about cleaning, working out, packing, and my all time weekend fav: pool time.

    Congrats on reaching Gold level, that's awesome lady! Homemade pancakes are my favorite, yummy! We have a Bar Louie near us and it's such a fun time when we go there. Hibabchi is my bday spot, so tasty and fun right?

    Girl I feel you on the old lady status. I fell asleep on the couch at 11 on Saturday night. And I didnt even go out! Yes to hibachi! And I vote you wear Mario's jersey at the game ;) Oh and congrats on gold level!! Whoop whoop!

    I LOVE being gold card status at Starbucks! Whenever I get my 'free drink reward' it is like Christmas :-) And is there anything better than a card that is gold and glittery?...I think not!

    Old lady status? I went to bed at 10 pm on Saturday, so I beat you there haha. I'm gold status at Starbucks and have been for 5 years. Clearly thats a sign that I go there too much haha. Sounds like you had a nice weekend though, I'm glad! :-)

    Bahaha I'm always the one asleep at 11 on a Summer weekend. I blame all the time at the pool, it's exhausting! I was a total maniac a couple of years ago when I was trying to get my gold, congrats lady!!!!!

    Did you like the cold brew? I tried it for the first time this weekend and I'm mixed about it. I didn't like it at all the first few sips but the more I drank it the more it grew on me.

    I go to bed that early almost every weekend lately! We work hard during the week and it all catches up with us! I'm excited to try the cold brew but not sure it's made it here yet. Hope you have a great Monday!

    Sounds relaxing but you also got to throw some fun in there! Now Im totally craving hibachi! The weather turned out to be nice yesterday even though it was forecasted to be rainy so Im sure you took full advantage of the pool...

    ooooh, Bar Louie is one of my absolute favorites!! I love your Nordy picks...I scooped up a PMD that I CANNOT wait to get..I've had my eye on it.     Sometimes I feel like an old lady, too. I remember when I could eat two quesadillas, drink a non-diet soda, and eat ice cream, without feeling it at all. Now, just a non-diet Coke makes me feel heavy and bloated.

    Yay for reaching Gold Level!! I still get hot drinks in the Summer so I haven't seen the Summer themed cups except on Social Media, lol. Old Lady status here too.
