Beautiful Weekending

I am happy to announce that I fully enjoyed a relaxing weekend. It was the first time in what feels like forever that I wasn't running around, and after last weekend's fun and craziness it was nice to lay low.

Grilling out, bike rides, pool time, game night, and going out for frozen yogurt were the extent of my efforts. Oh and of course sleeping in, nothing is more beautiful than no alarm clock. Love feeling refreshed and ready to take on another week.

I kicked off my weekend on Friday with two of my favs... sparkly pineapples and a non-fat iced flat white. Yum!
Friday's weather was perfect for pool side drinks, grill food, a kale salad, and guacamole from Trader Joe's. More yum! I also came across the most adorable cookie jar at Target, I love finding bulldogs everywhere.
Saturday, after enjoying a hot breakfast and coffee on the patio it was time for a beautiful bike ride to break up a sweat before some much needed pool time.

I even managed to put together *all by myself* the new patio bar I snagged from Bed Bath & Beyond for the upcoming pool party next weekend. I was a little too proud of myself for being such a crafty craftsman.
*Roxy was not impressed*

Saturday night called for some frozen yogurt. I could not tell you the last time I just went out for ice cream. Life shouldn't be so crazy busy that you can't go out for some ice cream to enjoy in the warm weather. Yeesh... sometimes you have to stop and enjoy the ice cream errr frozen yogurt.

Sunday was Mother's Day, and since my momma is back up in CT, I got to face time with her while she opened her gift from me, my brother, and my dad. Then it was time for a yummy Mother's Day lunch with my in-laws. We also finished installing the ceiling fan to complete a little patio face lift.

*My mom loves pics of her "grand-doggy" Roxy*

*All ready for the pool party - who wants an umbrella drink?*
