I took a half day on Friday, and headed down to West Palm for SunFest to see 311 and Kaskade. Both music acts were incredible, and I am so glad I was able to pull off seeing both with them being on 2 separate stages... more on that later. Now just sit back, relax, and get ready for picture-overload!
I was music festival ready at work with my shades, bright pants, and graphic tee. Getting out of work and down to the festival was the best feeling, and I was excited!
We got to WPB just in time for happy hour, and enjoyed a drink at Rocco's Tacos before heading to Grease for some food and hitting up the festival. My favorite part about Rocco's Tacos was the old school Looney Tunes cartoons playing in the bathroom. There were little tv's in the stalls, and you could hear Daffy and Speedy Gonzalez. Amazing!
*Loved the free samples of Dunkin iced coffee*
It's safe to say I was having a good time before the headliners even took the stage...
Finally, it was time for 311 and Kaskade... except there was one small problem. 311 came on at 9:15, and Kaskade came on at 9:30 on different stages no where near each other. Opposite ends of the below map...
*311 - I made friends with some people in the crowd and got really close*
Kaskade was simply amazing... the light show, the music, the energy, and of course the fireworks. I was jumping up and down the entire time.
Needless to say on Saturday I was absolutely exhausted, but it was fight night! So, I rallied and made my way over to a friend's house who purchased the fight for us to enjoy in their amazing home theater.
Sunday was all about relaxation, I went for a nice bike ride and had some pool time with my fav neighbors, and rounded off the weekend watching Gone Girl since I finally finished the book. I hadn't seen my neighbors since before her birthday last week, and brought over her gift and card. Love my "spirit animal"!
