Cheers to 2016
Happy New Year's Eve! Yesterday, I recapped the first half of 2015 and today I'm going to finish out the second half of what was surely an amazing year.
July was a super busy month with lots of traveling. I kicked off the month with a long holiday weekend celebrating the 4th of July in Key West.
Then it was time to hop on a plane for a whirlwind trip to CT for my cousin's wedding which also included a train ride to the city for a Yankees game and a day trip up to Boston where I got to meet the fabulous Biana.
A birthday brunch celebration...
Then my birthday celebrations began with hibachi and another birthday brunch with unlimited bubbles because champagne. I also shared all the free goodies I take advantage of during my birthday month here.
I also enjoyed floating around on my beautiful new flamingo floatie that Emily gave me for my birthday and appropriately named her Rose like the champs.
September was another busy month full of lots of fun. I kicked off Labor Day Weekend with one of my work favs to meet 50 Cent at a bottle signing.
That weekend also brought a behind the scenes tour at a local bowling alley with Pamela where we got to see how everything works and take home our own bowling pins.
Went to Wekiva Island for the first time with Emily and K....
Then it was time for our friend's bachelor/bachelorette weekend at the JW Marriott lazy river.
October brought fall fun Florida style and wine tasting at a new local vineyard.
Then it was time for the Zedd concert in Tampa which was incredible! I'm still on a music high from that show!
Happy hour complete with champagne flights to celebrate Kerri's birthday. Always a good idea...
The end of October/beginning of November brought our friend's destination wedding in Punta Cana.
The following weekend, I flew up to Connecticut for my sister in-law's baby shower. (My little nephew is due any day now!) I got to spend the day with my bff, lots of extra time with my mom, see my brother for a bit, go to dinner with my aunt and cousins, and shower my sis and nephew before flying back home.
The celebrations continued back at home with a friend's b-day festivities...
And a kick off to the holidays party...
And I got to meet the fabulous Kristen and her husband KC over a yummy dinner at Yard House with beautiful views of the Orlando Eye.
December kicked off one of the busiest months of the year. I shared my Christmas wish list, and got ready for our annual Christmas party at the house. This year was the first year we had a photo booth which will definitely be happening again next year.
I was Emily's date for her work Christmas party at Loews Royal Pacific at Universal where we enjoyed lots of champs.
Then it was time to celebrate the birthday girl with a yummy girls brunch and unlimited bubbles at our favorite brunch spot downtown.
The last weekend before Christmas I took my first ever ride on the new SunRail with Pamela and the boys for a fun night out.
The next evening was Part II of celebrating Emily's birthday with our first ride on the new Orlando Eye observation wheel.
Christmas was amazing with lots of yummy food and thoughtful gifts. Now I'm looking forward to ringing in the New Year this evening.
