Holiday Weekending

 **The Recipe Swap Tuesday link-up would have been live today, but due to the holiday weekend we are taking another week off and will be returning next Tuesday to re-start our bi-weekly schedule**

After traveling to Boca Raton for Memorial Day Weekend and to Key West for the 4th of July it was super refreshing to spend the long weekend here in town.

I kicked off the holiday weekend on Friday with one of my fav co-workers to stand in line for a few hours to meet 50 Cent, and get a bottle of Effen Vodka signed by him. It felt like we waited forever, but once we got to the front and got to meet him and get our picture taken with him it was all worth it. 

Saturday started off with donuts and iced coffee because sometimes you just need a strawberry frosted donut with sprinkles! Miss Roxy came to the drive thru and got her own old fashioned donut which was adorable!

Then it was time for some college football, and not-so-good-for-you but oh-so-good food with some friends for the afternoon which extended well into the evening.

Sunday was a relaxing day with some shopping and good food at home while trying out a new recipe, and the evening capped off with some bowling and a behind the scenes tour of the bowling alley with Pamela. We got to see what goes on in the back, and even got to keep our own bowling pins. Such a neat experience. Monday was all about some pool time with my fav neighbors with some good food, drinks, and cannon ball action. Great way to finish off the long weekend, who do I need to talk to - to make these 3 day weekends more of a necessity?
