I kicked off the weekend on Thursday as Emily's date to her work Christmas party at Loews Royal Pacific at Universal Studios. I brought her birthday gifts to the resort which were a birthday stemless wine glass, a jewelry holder, and a bath bomb in the shape of a birthday cupcake.
Once we left the hotel room, and go down to the festivities it was all about the food, casino games, dancing, and of course champs which is always a good idea.
We even got to hang out and dance with Kerri too with champs all around!
Friday was a quiet day working from home, and the only reason I changed out of my pj's was to head to Target for some shopping and I tried a Holiday Spiced Flat White for the first time after Biana's suggestion. It was delish! Definitely go out and get one, and ask for it with non-fat milk - YUM!
Saturday called for breakfast on the patio with this sweet face before getting ready for a co-ed baby shower that afternoon. Loved celebrating the happy couple who are glowing and awaiting the arrival of their precious baby boy.
Then it was time for a celebratory fondue dinner to celebrate H's (somewhat) recent promotion at work. Yeah, we've been totally slacking on that celebration. I'm seriously looking forward to after the holiday season where life calms down a little and we can relax.
Sunday was all about celebrating Emily's birthday at our favorite brunch spot downtown. You can't beat the unlimited food and mimosas where they drop off the champagne and juices on the table and replenish as needed. Double yum!
