Weekends are for sun and fun

Another beautiful weekend bites the dust...

Friday night was spent with my favorite neighbors in their beautiful pool and hot tub. We hadn't gotten together in far too long, so it was nice to play catch up over a lot some drinks.



Saturday was pretty much a wash for me, I was nursing one of the worst hangovers I've experienced in a loooooong time. I cancelled movie night plans with friends, and was only able to lay by the pool during the day and make it out for a quick bite and some grocery shopping *how exciting* that evening. I tried some "hair of the dog" at dinner, but it was nursed big time and didn't help at all. Needless to say I was in bed by 10:00... I officially can't hang anymore.

Next time someone pours you fireball just say NO! Just like the saying "nothing good happens after midnight" well folks "nothing good happens when doing fireball shots". There's your words of wisdom for the week.




Sunday, after a fantastic night's sleep I felt like myself again and was ready to take on the day which started with chocolate chip pancakes on the patio before heading off to the beach.

    Looks like a fun weekend. Ugh, hangovers are the worst though, right!?!? Totally can throw you off your game. Glad you were able to recover on Sunday, those pancakes look delicious!

    Well, it sounded like you had a really fun Friday, but Saturday hangovers....yikes! I hate when you're out of commission for the entire day, just feeling like crap. Glad you were able to recover and enjoy Sunday! Hopefully you're rested up and ready for Monday! :)

    everything is cured with some beach time - so at least you got some of that in on sunday! ugh i can't hang either - i was a bit rough on saturday too. we need to learn already! ha. happy monday love!

    Haha and that is exactly why I just say no to Fireball! I used to love that stuff but after one ridiculously heinous hangover I haven't touched it since and don't ever plan on it. Actually, I just can't do shots any more! I'm old and not afraid to admit it haha! Glad you got a good beach day in!!

    Looks like such a good weekend, other than the hangover part! I would love to live in Florida and have the beach accessible whenever I wanted to go!

    oh girl - fireball gets me too!! i know that feeling and gah i hate it for you! that hottub looks awesome and so does that pool!! i'm so ready for it to warm up so we're at pool weather!

    Jealous of the hot tub/pool time. I'm hoping this weekend is really nice because even though I won't get pool time in I need patio time in my life. Adult hangovers are THE WORST!

    Oh boy. I had a hangover yesterday that was pretty serious. It only gets worse when you have kids and then if you ignore them bc your head is going to explode you experience the Mom guilt.

    I seriously can't hang anymore either. I'm scared for Vegas because I'll be the one in the corner nursing my 1 drink lol. I'm glad you felt better and hangover-less on Sunday in order to enjoy the beach! Send some warm weather our way!

    Haha I love that you were good to go for drinks by Sunday! The first time I had Fireball I was in Nashville and had no idea what it was (this was about five years ago before it was popular). I got so drunk I lost my DL at some hockey tonk. It was fun going to the airport with no ID a few days later lol!

    I can't hang anymore either, and nothing is worse than the wine flu ;) or in your case the fireball flu. Glad you were better for Sunday!

    Hope you're fully recovered from the hangover!! I'm so excited that we have some warm weather and beach days ahead. We need to plan a trip out to NSB or Cocoa soon!
