Another one bites the dust...


Friday night was a trip to Epcot for the Fuel concert and some Food & Wine Festival fun. My favorite was the cheddar cheese soup from "Canada" and the Dessert & Champagne station because we all know chocolate and champs is always a good idea! Also took a ride on Soarin' and spontaneously met up with several friends who were also there for the concert for some more drinks around the world. Of course my favorite part was the IllumiNations fireworks show at the end of the night.



Saturday was time for some wine tasting at a local winery, and a picnic outside in the vineyard with my sis-in-law and her hubs before they flew back to CT. My favorite was the pink crescendo which is a pink sparkling wine (champs!) and the Chablis. I was glad I came armed with a coupon for a free bottle, so picked up 2 bottles one of which was for free. Later that evening called for a relaxing game night and college football because I was absolutely exhausted....



Sunday was time for a neighborhood pool party and some much needed catch up with neighborhood friends I hadn't seen in a while. Cannon balls and good food were on the menu, and I'm still drooling over the caramel apple swirl bread I had for breakfast.. delish! I found it at Target *of course*. My other fav find at Target this weekend was my pumpkin bottle pourer for the upcoming Halloween baby shower I'm hosting in a few weeks...perfect!

    I love wine tours, and getting to find new wines. Total score on the coupon for a free bottle. Caramel apple bread?! Wow. Sounds yummy.

    I've been wanting to try that Caramel Apple Bread! It sounds sooo good. And F&W Festival sounds like a blast... it's my goal to get down there for it one day! Glad you had a fun weekend :)

    Sounds like a great weekend! SO jealous of your Food & Wine trip... that soup sounds amazing! And I've been wanting to check out Lakeridge Winery! I should have gone out to the pool on Sunday.. stupid errands!! Happy Monday!

    Visiting from Weekend Recap! Carmel Apple Bread sounds delicious, especially as toast. I'll have to look the next time I'm at the grocery store and see if it's available in Canada (although, I have my doubts.)

    I have done wine tasting but not wine tours and that sounds pretty fun. I keep saying I am going to do it, just haven't done it yet.

    I love seeing the pic of the pool and cannon balls! it is still pretty warm here but the pool water is cold so I am not getting in. Although, it is probably cold to me because I am used to warm (hot) weather.

    I've been eying that caramel apple bread but haven't picked any up yet in fears of how quickly I would eat that loaf, ha! Glad to know it's good though!

    Are you super exhausted every Monday? I'd be if I was always on the go doing fun stuff every weekend! I;m sure well-worth it if you are tired. Disney, alcohol tasting + pool party = perfection!!
