Weekend Shopping and Cooking

I hope everyone remembered to set their clocks back an hour this weekend for daylight savings time. Having that extra hour is the best feeling! I wish we could do it more often :-P

The part I'm looking forward to most is getting up for work tomorrow with the sun and not in the dark! Everyone knows I'm green and like to conserve as much as I can so I'll be happy not to be turning on lights throughout the house in the mornings while getting ready for work.

H and I had a relaxing weekend. We kicked off the weekend with drinks and apps in town and then I did a little shopping. I finally got the sequined tank from Old Navy I've been eyeing.

This top runs big, I got it in an extra small. I usually wear a small or a medium.

Love this top as I've had an eye on it for a few weeks, however the back of it is completely sheer so I'm going to have to layer it with a tank underneath and a cardigan over it when I wear it to work.

They're out of stock online, but the store I was at had a ton left, so you should have luck finding it in store.

I also picked up this top at Old Navy and you can find it here.

It's super comfy and I already wore out yesterday to run errands and get a pedicure

My entire purchase at ON was 30% off plus I got $30 in super cash (like Express' fast cash) off of a $60 purchase. Sweeeet!

I ordered this Flirty Cardi from Victorias Secret in Perfectly Pink Heather

and

This cami tank from VS in Sugar Baby to layer under my new sequined top above

I also got the free lip gloss set for ordering a sweater/cardigan from VS
Free shipping on orders of $50 or more at VS ends tonight at midnight.

And last but certainly not least...

I traded in my nail polish that I doubled up on from Sephora. I ordered two bottles of Metro Chic by accident. So I went to the store yesterday and traded it in for:

Sephora by OPI's Naughty is the New Nice

While I was in Sephora, I also picked up a bottle of Philosophy's Marshmallow for Toasting for only $5. They were up at the register in gift card holders and they smelled so delicious I just had to pick up a bottle even though I wasn't buying a gift card :-P

Now, it's time to relax and enjoy what's left of my weekend with a glass of sparkling sangria while I make my weekly pot of sauce.

How was your weekend?

  3. I'm super excited to wear the gold sequined top. I may wear it to a party on Saturday, but am not sure if it'll be "too much".

I also can't wait to use the ON cash! I'm already picking out what I might get with it ;0)
